But the Medical profession and Drug companies are making big bucks off the “New Diet” and all the insulin type drugs the people need now as a result.

I have Diabetes and have had two heart attacks.
If I had to pay for insurance, then I couldn’t afford to go to the hospital.
Or eat.
The result of the food pyramid which was devised by the FDA, adopted by medical professionals, and implemented by our food growers and producers.
And kids are worrying about global warming?
What’s the life expectancy in the USA as opposed to other countries? That’s an important measure.
A nation of people sitting around staring at their phones, eating the crap that passes for food these days. DOH!
I recall reading that almost every country in the world, except USA, does not count newborn deaths. They only count them after they’re several weeks old. This, alone, gives other countries a big advantage in death rates.
Highest death rate? Every country has a death rate of 100%. Nobody lives forever. The United States has the 37th longest life expectancy out of 183 countries worldwide. Thats well above the mean so this guy is full of it.
The USA has the longest running culture of wealth, even among the lowest in the economy. That is why we are sick. We can afford to sit and eat.
Every other country is catching up.
“Eat less, do more.”
Hi, Bob! Ping the list, please...
I’m a big fan of Dr Berg, but...he may lose me on this. I’m just so sick and tired of ANYBODY badmouthing the USA anymore. If he isn’t happy with his fellow citizen’s health...he should move to India and drink water directly from the Ganges.
I do remember going to restaurants when I was 20 and getting meals that left me hungry. 50 years later I’m getting meals that would feed me for 3 days.
The unhealthiest country is the one with the fewest people alive in it.Antarctica gets my vote.
The poorest are the most likely to be obese and are generally unused to hard physical labor, something that has never happened before.
Freegards
The USA is NOT the most unhealthy country in the world. Yes, we have too many people who eat too much and do so in part because the US government has insane food recommendations. But if you prefer to live in the Sudan or Cuba...
Why is that?
How many of these countries have disease ridden maggots sneaking in and dying when they get here?
We have sure gone fat.
I’ve been watching a lot of Dr. Berg videos over the past few months, I’ve learned that everything I “knew” about nutrition was wrong.
There’s one thing Dr. Berg constantly emphasizes, and it’s pure gold.
You don’t lose fat to get healthy, you get healthy to lose fat.
A lot of people get hung up and quit eating healthy, because the results don’t necessarily show up in terms of weight/fat loss. But the fact is, even on a calorie-restricted diet, or any regimen, it takes time to repair the damage, so that the body can start effectively burning off your fat stores.
