The hot air from Washington DC has finally reached Greenland.

Whether you say “leap” or “soar,” it’s still a lie. Temperatures go up and down. Outliers appear. Outliers are not normal, but they do occur. They mean nothing.

This reminds me, that next year, in 2020, it will be the 50th anniversary of Earth Day. So I’m sure they will have lots of special events for that anniversary.

And as the 2020 presidential election campaign will be going on then, whichever Democrat candidates are still running in the primaries, will be using the huge carbon footprint of a presidential campaign to express support for controlling global warming.

And Trump will be Hitler to the enviro extremists.

Ice is melting in unprecedented ways...

Ice has but one way to melt.

I looked at the weather records and the temperature today is about 4 degrees above June “normal”. If it were actually 40 above normal it would be 10 degrees hotter than Miami.

IT has been very cold in much of the US. Colder that people can remember for this time of year. Temps are sometimes in the 40’s at night and the rain almost never stops.

Exactly!

And it’s less time than you might think because the Landsat program only began in 1972. It would have possibly taken years to have more than a few pictures from space of anyplace uninteresting to the national security types.

All weather is local. Move the ice sheet to Wyoming.

70 in Nebraska and the wettest spring in 25 years.

That about 20 degrees below normal temps.

But I’m 59. I’ve seen it before. Young ones think it’s the end of the earth.

Below is a link to a report from the Monthly Weather Review, the source materials for an article published in the Washington Post headlined “Arctic Ocean Getting Warm; Seals Vanish and Icebergs Melt.” It was published on November 2, 1922.

Never been so low during the years of weather satellites.

The first satellite - TIROS I - went up in 1960 for a 78 day working life. So that gives us less than 60 years or so of observations.

Unusually cold = weather
Unusually hot = climate change requiring all capitalism to be extinguished for socialist policies!

Not possible. They have to be eliminating unwanted data or just making it up. It wouldn’t be the first time.
