Beto O’Rourke plans ‘reintroduction’ as 2020 buzz fizzles
Associated Press ^ | May 11, 2019 | Will Weissert and Steve Peoples

Beto O’Rourke barreled into the 2020 presidential race with breakneck energy and a fly-by-the-seat-of-his-pants campaign style that saw him leap atop tables to address overflow crowds with the organic, off-the-cuff candor that had made him a Texas sensation.

But since his mid-March campaign launch, the buzz surrounding the former congressman has evaporated. Competing in a massive field of Democratic White House hopefuls, O’Rourke has sagged in the polls. He’s made few promises that resonated or produced headline-grabbing moments, instead driving around the country meeting with voters at mostly small events.

In a tacit recognition that this approach isn’t working, O’Rourke is planning to try again, taking a hands-on role in staging a “reintroduction” ahead of next month’s premier Democratic presidential debate. As he finalizes his plans, O’Rourke has entered an intentional “quiet period” to build out campaign infrastructure, according to an adviser who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss the campaign’s strategy.

That will end soon.

O’Rourke plans to step up his national media appearances after skipping most of that kind of exposure in recent months. He is scheduled to appear on MSNBC’s “Rachel Maddow Show” on Monday night and ABC’s “The View” the next day. …

New Beto same as New Coke — massive failure.

At least “old” Coke hadn’t failed prior to the introduction of the “new”.

We never liked the first* version of you, Beta O’Cuck.

(*maybe he’s going to announce he’s a fag in order to get more support from the homofascist media)

Okay Beto, you seem like a nice guy. So here’s some free advice.

1. Eat more dirt. The amount you ate last time evidently wasn’t enough.*

2. Drop the Hispanic gimmick. It’s just not working. Instead, stake out a new identity, one that hasn’t been taken. May I suggest Asian-American?

3. Learn from the folks who are beating you. Biden gropes. And Bernie is a communist. It’s clear what you must do. Start groping communists.

Sounds like the ole John Kerry 2004 ploy.

Kerry tried to reintroduce/revise/reinitialize his 2004 campaign nearly a half-dozen times.

“Beto” should not rush the reintroduction, and plan it a bit. Since the Irish and Mexican memes didn’t work out too well, perhaps it was the reason the first introduction failed.

He should reintroduce with another:

Perhaps “Luis” or “Jose” to get the Venezuelan vote.

Think about “Suho” or “Momo”, they’d might do the trick.

Beto, Butto, Biden, Bernie, Booker, Beth or Brownswhore? What a pathetic field of candidates.

As I recall, Hillary introduced herself to the American people many times. But that didn’t seem to help her ever.

How many times did Madame Cankles re-invent herself?

And each one was more unlikeable than the last unlikeable re-invention

Remember Al Gore? He did the same thing with beige outdoor clothing and a canoe trip down river.

Didn’t both Jeb and Clinton “reintroduce” themselves and retune their campaigns several times? How well did that work out for them?

Appearing with The Libiot Feminazi B!tch Queens of TV, Mad Cow and Maude — now that’s a resume enhancer!
