The only blame for that mess of a thread yesterday were the trolls and free republic mods.

I'm with you. Those who come here to harass and criticize, not to participate, are not here in good faith, and deserve to be insulted and chased away, or laughed at and memed at, whatever works to minimize their disruptive efforts. Ignoring works sometimes, but not always with the dedicated ones. Those who criticize US, or suspend our contributors, for attacking trolls are like the people who talk about Trump being unpresidential when he treats back at those who attack him. Those people never mention the vile things said about Trump, just what he said in response. The solution would be easy, and would serve the interests of all. Mods should let us police this place ourselves. When there is an obvious troll, as we had several yesterday, or as we have at the start of every new thread, we should be able to ask them to leave, and have it enforced. After all, we are not allowed to even discuss Q civilly on threads outside of this one, much less attack those who disagree with us.

I must have done a terrible job of wording this before. I am a Christian. I don’t appreciate being called a “follower” of anything else. Or a “believer” in anything else, or in a cult. Q is a political view, and I find it wildly insulting to take a political view and try to make it my spiritual faith.

I think I did a terrible job of reading it before. I apologize. I am Christian too and yes, they call it our religion for the express purpose of insulting our devotion to God. In our current society, insulting Christians seems common although it’s usually a tad more discreet. Since I don’t believe it violates FR rules, I don’t report it. I am related by marriage to a Congressman. The Congressman, his brothers, sisters and parents, have a trip planned overseas for the holidays. The Congressman has had to cancel and will not join the trip because of the government shutdown and the need to be available in DC. It is part of the job, but it is a shame, because the trip has been planned for years and the parents are pretty old, and it will probably never happen again.

Does anyone have a theory why Comey would take THIS particular time to come out and brag that he sandbagged Flynn?
