You know what? I’d forgotten it was you.
Let me rephrase it then.
Take. Courage.
And you do the same my friend. Have a good week.
Is the Pope Catholic? Wait - not so sure about that one....
Is Hillary guilty?
They blew the last chance.
There is no coming back from this mess now short of a act of God.
YES!!
“Thats not a conspiracy, just the generally accepted theories that everyone uses when they set up a computer trading system. If interest rates go up and stock prices start to dip, then the computer programs sell.”
Maybe THAT part isn’t a conspiracy, but it is absurd that with so much of the economy doing better than it has in years, when someone farts in China suddenly billions of dollars get dumped. The powers that be dumped pensions and retirement plans and forced us all to get into investment gambling, and then they play thier little games over that Chinese fart and rob millions of us. It’s all quite ridiculous. I do believe it’s being manipulated. Just my opinion.
All the computers running the show has similar algorithms and they monitor each other...if one sells , they all sell...if one starts buying, they all buy....they no longer look at actual financials and trends....the market has become a computerized Magic Eight Ball.....
Spreading rumors in other large investors and hedge fund’s ears. I talk with these people as part of my job all the time. Crazy how fast investors can all get the same buzzwords (end of cycle, recession, interest rates, tariffs, downturn were all I heard over and over again in the last month over 150 meetings)
Solution number one:
STOP WITH THE ALGORITHMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
algorithm
: a procedure for solving a mathematical problem (as of finding the greatest common divisor) in a finite number of steps that frequently involves repetition of an operation
broadly : a step-by-step procedure for solving a problem or accomplishing some end
There were algorithms before computers. The very name computers once referred to people employed in such tasks:
“Before modern computers, the term computer was used to describe people who computed, and this term was indeed sometimes used as a job title or description. For instance, in an 1884 report of the U.S. Naval Observatory, a list of acknowledgements of assistance included these:
...Mr. Theo I. King throughout the year, in the grade of computer until April 20, 1897, and subsequently in the grade of assistant astronomer; Computer Frank B. Littell... Computer E. A. Boeger throughout the year; Computer G. K. Lawton ...”
