Would Americans welcome Alberta into the Union?

We have third largest proven reserves of oil in the world and our pretty bird Prime Minister wants to keep locked up, even if every Albertans starves to death.
Any takers?

I’ve discussed this a lot with people up by Grande Prairie, and lots are in favour of it. If we weren’t handcuffed by our government, we’d be very well off.

From what I’ve heard, Alberta would lean Republican if this were to happen. It’s been under discussion for years. Our Democrat/Fascistii party would never allow that to happen, since it would tip the balance of power against them.

I used to know many people from Western Canada.
Alberta, Saskatchewan, British Columbia.
They saw how taxes in America ware so much lower and how the socialists in the Canadian government were ruining everything. Theeynwanted to be part of the U.S.

I’m sure he would pull some shenanigans, or try to. However, the Supreme Court ruled that as long as long as the majority to be out, the feds can’t stop it.
