I wonder if it’s literally our crumbling infrastructure, and not a malicious prank, given that it’s happened more than once. Are people really finding chunks of concrete lying around, and deciding to carry them to overpasses?

I wonder if someone threw it or it just fell off a structure? The time it happened is odd, unless kids already have school off for the holiday, and were still out from the night before. Horrible crime if it was people who did it. I’ve dealt with youths rolling tires down a hill onto a highway with no place to pull off. I was luckily I saw them coming down.

Many years ago I was riding with a buddy in his truck leaving downtown Detroit and heading East on I-94 when we approached an overpass bridge and I saw a black kid throw a brick into the traffic. The brick missed our truck and I don't think it hit a vehicle behind us......
Since then, they put screens on all the overpasses trying to prevent that sort of crime......
