Would the newer baby have been a step up?
What about just putting the baby in the other car, and keeping that one?
Well, duh. You’re buildin’ that there 2017 version of the new app in Oct 3018. 8 <)
I destroyed an entire file cabinet of sensitive documents.
Also known as...
Y2K Compliance correspondence.
I'd not want to explain THAT particular one to the cops. "Sure, Mr. 17-year-old-and-looking-for-trouble WBill, you just unlocked the the car that wasn't yours and got into it when it obviously wasn't yours and your keys started it right up though the car wasn't yours. Riiiight."
Now, I'd guess that there's more security on car locks. 30-odd years ago? I guess not so much. Seems like read somewhere (FR?) where there used to be a limited number of keysets for manufacturers.
Who knows, no harm done, except to my ego. Now, and forever probably, I find myself checking my plates, or my back seat before I get into the car. Fortunately, my current vehicle has keyless entry so it's pretty obvious which car is mine. :-)

I have the opposite problem. Am on the road about 200 days a year. Obviously, many different restaurants, many hundreds of different parking lots and malls and hotels and businesses.
So I don’t walk outside and ask, “Oh crud! Where did I park the car tonight?”
I walk outside and ask, “D*mn. What color car am I looking for tonight?”
(the 'softie' comments headed my way about this will prolly be my dumbest thing this week ;-)
Too funny!! Thanks for sharing.
Yes, I lost the keys in the house I was working in today to get an estate sorted, she was a horder and QVC was her best friend, not even a path to get into some rooms, she hadn’t opened many of her purchases. It was so sad, called the locksmith, and called myself stupid!!!
There are so many videos of kids - and grownups- being given surprise puppies. And almost everyone cries! I wonder why...
Don’t even remember where I found that one, but it sure did whack my sappy spot.
(but don’t tell ;-)
LOL! I spent an entire evening a couple of weeks ago looking at ‘puppy gift’ videos. It’s very heartening to witness this kind of love and joy over something so innocent and simple. Restores your faith in humanity:

(Someday, Santa’s going to bring me a little Boston Terrier :-)
Awwww, those were wonderful, thank you !
(why’s my screen all blurry ?)
Cats are so-so, but doggies are unconditional.
(hope your Santa’s listening this year :)
I will hug him and pet him and squeeze him and call him...Bucky!
(My father had a Collie named ‘Bucky Harris’ after the baseball player/manager. I’ve been saving the name ;-)
There will be no video, though; I’m still vain enough to hate the way my face puffs up when I cry...
One guy comments:
Just. One. More. Puppie. Video....
2 hrs later: Just. One. More. Puppie. Video.....
LOL
I like the ones of the old folks, too.
Back in the day, those odds were good. My parents had two Chevrolets that had the same key.
In my case:
Heh...
