Well it wouldn’t make sense that you just contacted them to collect the inheritance or you would have done so right away.
And SO WHAT if you did??
Inheritances are OFTEN left by someone we have not contacted nor have they contacted us in a long time.
That means nothing.
I have friends that I have not talked to in 10 years.
If they called me today and needed me I would drop everything and run to their aid.
Just as you would I’m sure if it was an emergency and not an inheritance.
Last week I was on a ladder on my roof trying to paint the second story and fell 20 feet to the concrete. Wife told me not to over and over again. Being a dumb man I didn’t listen. Now bruised ribs, fractured wrist, back issues, and bruised every thing.
Note to self, listen to the wife.

I caught 10 seconds of Schlep Smith before I was able to change the channel, due to dropping the remote control, as a result of wrist surgery.
Got my first car with toys in 20 years, and was trying to find a location the old fashioned way this morning - by driving around cussing. Called the place, lady says, “are you using GPS?” I realized I had that now and feeling stupid, said, “Ummm nooo...” HER directions were unintelligible.
Got off the phone, found the map (wow) and accidently gave it some other address. Couldn’t seem to undo it. Drove to my location using the map toy while yelling at the GPS lady “Oh shut up!” She’s telling me go right as I turn left, etc.
I gotta learn more about these new toys.

I almost watched a full 30 seconds of Shepard Smith’s show... Boy, did I feel dumb.

Last winter I parked my Blue Toyota Tacoma and went into CVS after work about 6 at night(dark). I came back out went up to the drivers side of the truck and pressed the button on the key fob to open the door. I heard it click but the stupid door latch would not work. I must have tried it 5 times before I realized MY Blue Toyota Tacoma was right behind me. :)

Happened today-——drove past the post office ON MY WAY TO THE POST OFFICE.
Half way there I decided to get a coffee———drove and got the coffee,went to CVS and went home.
When I got in I discovered my mail in my purse.

Did this a while ago, I had to call my daughter-in-law, so I entered her number, waiting for it to ring.......I dialed it on the microwave.

It was either dancing in public or running over a median that I couldn’t see but everyone else in the car could see. Same evening. Beer was involved.
Years and years ago, when I was just a freshly-minted driver, I took Dad's car to the local mall. Did my thing, came back out, went to what I *thought* was Dad's car, used the keys to open the car door, and started it right up.
Looked over my shoulder to back out, then noticed the baby seat in the back (unoccupied, fortunately....). Said, "This isn't the right car!!" and quickly exited.
Same model, same color, same keyset, parked within a couple of spaces of each other. Wonder what the odds were?
Funny, Shemp always makes me feel pretty smart, in comparison!
My favorite doctor did that - we called him ‘Clint Eastwood’ he was very ‘cool’.
When we pointed out he was wearing a brown shoe and a black shoe - he grinned and said ‘I have another pair like this at home’.
He was a hoot!!!
