Clearance becomes inactive. Even if you do something ‘wrong’ it is possible to become active again if they want you bad enough. Or in my case the ChiComs apply for it since they hacked OPM and stole my info.

just an FYI clearance and access are 2 different things. many military come out with their clearances and go into military hardware industry. the clearance is required and many companies will give preference to those with a current clearance. Difference is the type of material one has access to is much different depending on the role.
The real question should be why are they still allowed access, not why do they still have a clearance.

A suggestion for your consideration:
Weigh the relative “BIG” between Q/Q-fags, the DS/media and “normies”.
Rainn-Dwight would think his tweet exposure was BIG while normies shrug it off. Omarosa dropping that she has recordings is BIG to the DS/media but doesn’t appear to be BIG to Q and only somewhat BIG to Q-fags.
Sometimes BIG and BOOMS are meant for a specific audience.

Until SP explained it to me, I thought that by having clearance you could look at any info that pertained to your clearance level. Even after leaving your particular job. What you, and SP, said makes perfect sense. That being said, i’m sure that retired politicians NEVER see any top Secret info :)

I guess I need to temper my enthusiasm and expectations, since I see the Omarorsa thing as a stupid media distraction and grab for attention. And I see the Rainn Wilson tweets as evil but seven years old evil with little proof beyond an evil tweet. I still see big as being Comey is indicted for lying to investigators or the FISA application exposed by the Inspector General as having used false information that can easily be verified and must be agreed to by the morons in the media. So I’ll go back to sitting in the back seat of the car now and wait for my kind of BIG.

So, whenever a big thing was happening, Tommy would say, “M-O-O-N, that spells trouble, Nicky!” or MOON could spell Bad Man, or any number of things. Usually Tommy spelled it when there was trouble afoot.
