There has to be a lot more to this story. Half of the airline business is gay, this has nothing to do with being gay.
My guess is that the other “couple” bought their tickets first. Airlines shoot themselves in the foot from time to time. But not because they hate gays. It usually because airline travelers are psycho and looking for a way to get a free seat.

How did Alaska Airlines know they were gay? I don’t remember that question when reserving a flight.
The shocking thing is that the airline didn’t let the gay couple stay by default...because they’re gay. If the flight attendant had taken me and my wife aside and told us they wanted to re-seat or deplane us to keep two faggots from throwing a hissy fit, we’d probably say “gotcha”, and agree to be re-seated or put on another flight.
If you payed for first class I don’t think they can demote you to coach.
I’m certain that there are some very relevant details left out of this “story.” But who cares about relevant details when a victim group has propaganda work to do?
