>>#10 Edna Mode: No political correctness!<<
and NO CAPES!!!
Seen the previews. Mr Incredible ends up a stay at home dad, while wife goes out and does superhero stuff.
See #10.
Was looking forward to the sequel.
Not anymore, wont see it.
I bet this author thinks Wakanda is important for blacks, too.
“They keep coming up with new ways to celebrate mediocrity”
Our two oldest, 17 and 22, still love the original.
Before reading any other comments; just about every new show in the last 5-10 years has pushed strong feminist type women, gays (lesbians in particular), and/or portrays white men as weak and incapable. A literal 180 from before this era.
I have no problem with casting strong women as role models for young women growing up but I do have a problem with typecasting men, particularly white men, as weak and incapable. It’s a concerted effort from every corner of the leftist spectrum to dehumanize and belittle white men. It has not gone unnoticed.
First they came for the white men but others shrugged and said they weren’t a white man. Then they came for the white women but the white men no longer had a voice to object.... by the time they came for the white children it was all over with.
The DVD of the first movie includes some cut scenes, one of which has women at a picnic sneering at Helen for being a stay at home mother.
Jesus! why can’t they just leave this PC crap alone. It’s a kids movie. now they have to turn it into a feminist conquest thing. Indiana Jones is going to become a girl in the next sequel (per director)and on it goes. If women are truly superior why do we have to keep giving this superiority stuff all of the time.
Take a break and find an different form of entertainment. You could learn a new language. Lot’s of literature available.
Hey Asshole! you take a break and do not pass your crap supercilious attitude on me. It’s because of people like you that we have to try and fight off this stuff in all of our institutions.
They got to Star Wars, and now The Incredibles.
No thanks.
The New Gynocracy can generate its own box office.
