One-dimensional feminist pap.
Won’t hold a candle to the original.
and Craig T Nelson (Mr. Incredible) is one of us ;)
We’ll see. I hope it wont be a big downer like Cars 2 because the original version had a relevant message in “if everyone is special, no one is..”
One of my favorite kid movies is the original. Watched it many times with the kids. The new one, maybe with the Grand-kids! lol
That’s what makes The Incredibles 2 a superhero movie to get excited for: It’s a family story that seems extra relevant in 2018.

Oh, boy. Political correctness ruins something else. EVERYTHING liberals get near they ruin. EVERYTHING. They should be banned from functional society and made to operate simple machinery and pick up garbage because that’s about all they’re good for (if that).
Edna Mode better have lots of screen time!
The Cheap Dreck Fables.
Back when National Review had my respect, they published a list of the top 25 conservative films. The Incredibles was one of them, IIRC. It is a good movie, positive and goes against the grain of “everyone gets a trophy” crap.
"No capes!"
Lucius: Honey?
Honey: What?
Lucius: Where’s my super suit?
Honey: What?
Lucius: Where - is - my - super - suit?
Honey: I, uh, put it away.
[helicopter explodes outside]
Lucius: *Where*?
Honey: *Why* do you *need* to know?
Lucius: I need it!
[Lucius rummages through another room in his condo]
Honey: Uh-uh! Don’t you think about running off doing no derring-do. We’ve been planning this dinner for two months!
Lucius: The public is in danger!
Honey: My evening’s in danger!
Lucius: You tell me where my suit is, woman! We are talking about the greater good!
Honey: ‘Greater good?’ I am your wife! I’m the greatest *good* you are ever gonna get!
My favorite scene in the movie.
“The Incredibles” is probably my favorite all time animated feature.
I see this, and my heart sinks. It reeks of pandering. I’m just sick of it.
Every single Pixar thing since “Up” has been worthless as far as I am concerned, except for “Inside Out”.
But..... but....... is there a transgender superhero in this version?
The militant feminist screenwriters’ union strikes again.
I trust Brad Bird not to mess this up. I suspect the message will be something akin to, no matter what society says you should want or do, your family is always more important than representing your gender your race or even, in this case, supers as a hyphenate.
You got that right!
Yeah...whos gonna plant a same sex lip lock in it? You just know therell be a homo thread in it.
Michael Giacchino’s first movie soundtrack is off the charts!
I sure hope so. The first movie had that theme, and I thought that was part of what made it a great movie. No mention of anyone’s race, gender, sexuality, etc.
I hope this isn’t a stupid move where men are the dunces and the women are the smart, clear-thinking ones.
