The Tesla model of entering the market at the very high end proved successful and one thing no one can argue with is the instantaneous torque and attendant acceleration of an electric motor of sufficient size. They’re going about it in the right way. There are already plenty of utilitarian two-wheeled grocery-getters and electric bicycles. Those are not Harley Davidson’s market and even trying to do that would severely damage their brand.

They seem pretty cool. You can rent them in Bermuda - they just started actually.
I wanted to rent one but my wife wanted a traditional motor scooter, so we did that.
The Renault Twizy has a driver in front and passenger in back. They seemed cool, but you can't roll up the windows as there are no side windows... but for Bermuda, they are perfect!
