I think some Freepers may have misunderstood two videos of Trump from the 1990s I posted yesterday. One where he endorsed Oprah as his first pick for Vice President should he run in 2000 — and another where he talked about some of his disagreements with the NRA.

I posted the Oprah one not to endorse her obviously, but because it was news to me and I found it amusing in light of recent speculation she may run against Trump. Also its quite telling that Trump spoke so respectfully of her and yet today he is unfairly berated as a racist and sexist.

The NRA one shows that Trump has always been pro 2nd Amendment but he at one point supported some more restrictions than he does now. Again was not endorsing his former point of view perse: but thought his evolution on the topic was relevant in light of the situation our country finds ourself in today.

And North Korea, Trump has been just so on top of for decades!
