Your questions about NK are good. The main thing I know about NK is that fat boy threatened to nuke US and our allies. Trump did not react passively like the Bush and Obama. And now we see Fat Boy sending his sister and competitors to the Olympics.

Why capture two American girls so they can be bailed out by Clinton and Podesta? Why did Clinton need to meet with NK leadership?
So that they would have an excuse to meet with C & P in person. That begs the question “WHY?” Why did they need to meet in person? Were they afraid that other communications would be intercepted? Maybe, but I doubt it. I think there was some physical object that was handed off. Which direction? Clinton to NK or NK to Clinton? Or both? What was it?
Side note: For a long time, I was wondering if each President targeted one country as a profit center. Clinton seemed to be selling everything to China in order to enrich himself. Bushes to SA to enrich themselves. 0vomit to anyone, but especially to muslim nations. It would look a lot more suspicious if all these presidents, esp from opposite parties, were chummy with the same country. Certain rich people (Rothschilds, et al) acquired or continue to acquire money via war/arms dealing. It is to their advantage to keep the world at war, at least on a low simmer. Also things like war cause volatility in the stock market. Certain major players make a lot of money on that, too. And I am near 100% convinced that those with the power to do so place large market bets and then cause a huge swing in the market. (Perhaps the recent volatility? Although another possibility is that big players needed to cash out for some big project or to pay ransom.)
