Tried to see Batman (Tim Burton/Michael Keaton ) in a movie theatre in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The projector broke about 2 minutes into the film. After 20-30 minutes of efforts to get it going, they declared, “Show’s over” and kicked us out.

The guy could have been the next Brando.

This happened to me in 1983 for the showing of ROTJ.
I blew off high school with a friend and waited outside all morning. We were in line for the second showing, when the crowd from the first came out PISSED.
The Dolby sound system crapped out and they ended the movie after an hour.
All that for ewoks ...
Word is that they were picking up items & tossing them around, but in true “Storm trooper” fashion, nobody was hit……
I went to the original Star Wars in 1977 the first couple days it was out at a local Mall Cinema. The movie started with the text scrolling down, “Long ago in a ...” The film broke and we sat there about 20 minutes. Finally the movie started again and there were the big mechanical camel things in a desert. So what did we miss?? I never did learn.
Watched the movie. Meh. Was convinced that wise man who died in the beginning was not really dead. He kept talking to Luke all through the movie. End of movie. He’s still dead.
Never watched another Star Wars movie...
Silent movie.
Went to see first showing of Born on the Fourth of July.After a couple reels it suddenly switched to something about giant sandworms. Distorted picture. Turns out they mistakenly got part of then forthcoming movie Tremors and it got mixed in (70 mm to 35 mm). Got refund, saw later, thankfully hadn’t bought refreshments.
His illegitimate offspring, Jar Jar Abrams, was the executive producer.
They can probably just watch return of the jedi to find out what happens

For a duck Howard was quite articulate,Jar Jar not so much.
