Hmpf. I thought chocolate pecan pie sounded about 500% better than regular pecan pie, which is basically an injection of Karo syrup. But then I can’t think of anyplace chocolate doesn’t belong...
Sarah is doing an incredible job. She’s such a good sport too, given the invective thrown at her by these piranhas.

Her crusts look very even. She must use some sort of crust shaping tool.
No one would ever mistake my pies for store-bought—I just fold over the crust at the edge and mash it with a fork all the way around. I try to place the tines evenly—but nothing comes out even in my crust.
