A man who did rooftop climbing stunts fell to his death on video.
Wu Yongning, 26, was attempting to do pull-ups on the side of a 62-story skyscraper when he lost his grip and fell to his death on Nov. 8.
The accident was filmed by a camera Wu had placed to record his trademark daredevil stunt at the summit of the Huayuan Hua Center, one of the tallest buildings in Changsha, central China.
The video, which has gone hugely viral internationally, showed Wu preparing for his stunt, lowering himself over the side of the building, and then bringing himself back up, apparently not pleased with the surface of the wall he was holding on to while he hung in the air.
In the video, he went over the wall a second time, did a few more pull-ups, and then attempted to pull himself back up to the top.
He struggled, and then fell, dropping out of view of the camera.
His body was recovered by window washers.

I read elsewhere that he fell about 45 feet to a ledge on the 62 story building. 45 feet doesn’t sound as good as 62 stories. It wasn’t the fall, it was the sudden stop. Dolt.
Ignorance of the law (of gravity) is no excuse.
It’s been said that facing the sheer terror of death causes the person to faint in mid-air (become unconscious) or suffer a fatal heart attack. In most falling cases, the person is already dead before they hit the ground.

That old wives tale may be comforting to some but since it can’t be proved I suspect it’s wrong.
Of course, we could throw a few Democrats off of some tall buildings to test the idea.
They say they like science and this will give them a chance to prove it.
