It’s been said that facing the sheer terror of death causes the person to faint in mid-air (become unconscious) or suffer a fatal heart attack. In most falling cases, the person is already dead before they hit the ground.

That old wives tale may be comforting to some but since it can’t be proved I suspect it’s wrong.

Anyone who has the balls and the stupidity to do pull-ups on top of a 62 story building obviously has very little fear of death.
