Now that Wall Street had popped up a futures market on same I’d think twice.

Look at the situation of the US Dollar...

I expect it is at its high so it would be a good prospect to buy very high and sell very low.

If you're volunteering to have your every thought process re-arranged, why not get saved and serve Jesus?

Honestly ... the returns are much better and eternal.

Been following it since it got going but still cannot make sense of it.

I have a son with an MBA from a big-name school who runs a hedge fund and he can’t make sense of it. Same with a friend who was a very successful int’l banker.

If someone here knows what it’s about, I curious.

The current BitCoin bubble is already WAY beyond the historic “Tulip Bubble” of old.

Going all in at this time will likely result in being all out.

By the way, 40% of ALL BitCoin is currently owned by a group of only 1000 people.

Whatever you do, I’d stay out of the mining side of things. A friend of mine bought $60k worth of mining equipment with a several month break even point factoring in the additional cost on his power bills. When I last saw him, he said the break even horizon is much further out now because some Chinese guys brought some super servers online making the algorithms much harder.

40% of bitcoin inventory is controlled by 1,000 “owners”. Stop and think about that. Also investigate how easy/hard it is to get out into another “currency”.

In 2014 I had 40 bitcoins. Most stupidly I sold them.

Now I have 1/3 of a bitcoin that I bought in early November and it’s more than doubled. My goal is to rid the trend and I watch it VERY closely.

Don’t put any more in than you can afford to lose.

Funny, my MBA son called me today about opening up an account for him. He likes the company Ripple XRP and thinks they will be the next Bitcoin.

SOBER ADVICE, THANKS...!

Online I met a Nigerian General who said differently.

I’m beginning to think he might not be honest.

I’m investing in tulip bulbs instead.

They have had a bit of a bad run since 1637, but they’re coming back in 2018.

:)

Good advice. In the oil business, when you had the lawyers and accountants to start investing, it was time to sell, sell, sell. Because the market was just about to tank. Having been through three booms and busts in my life, I know the signs.
