Just watched Spartacus last weekend. Gladiator was pretty much a rip-off.

A person in the know told me in 1994 that he was not being taken care of. This woman went to his home twice a month to do his hair.

It is stunning that Michael had 2 kids with Catherine when he was 56 and 59 years old. Not only is the Dad still kicking at 73 with the kids being 17 and 14, but they have 2 sets of Grandparents living. Some kids literally have everything.

Wow. Happy Birthday!
I remember reading his autobiography. It was pretty interesting. Every woman he wanted, he got.

My favorite Kirk Douglas movie is the ‘The Final Countdown’.
Not a great movie but I’m not a film buff.

“”He enlisted in the United States Navy in 1941, shortly after the United States entered World War II, where he served as a communications officer in anti-submarine warfare. He was medically discharged for war injuries in 1944.”
What a contrast with the Hollywood pukes of today.
