The President Stole Your Land In an illegal move, the president just reduced the size of Bears Ears and Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monuments. This is the largest elimination of protected land in American history.

It would appear there are others who would like to express their feelings.

Brand suicide is a fascinating thing to witness.

The libs are consistent. Advance and scream. Advance and scream.

First they take stuff, and then scream if it gets taken back. Like it was always theirs forever.

Happens every time.

Yep, I actually own quite a bit of Patagonia clothing as it fit and seems to be very well made.

Won’t be buying any more of it.

Sure. I want to go there and pack a rifle around, just to rile the Patagonia people.

Doesn't matter if I really hunt for anything or not.

Javelina, maybe?

I have never bought any products from Patagonia...

You ain't missed nothing.

Chinese/Taiwan/Bangladesh/Etc made crap, outrageously overpriced, poorly designed, ill-functioning...

Long story short, just more crap for magazines like "Outdoors" and "Men's Health" to promote as something that you must have if you're going to be anybody in any endeavor and to have anything otherwise will make you fail miserably.

I've attempted to shop there...once they saw I was over 35, the atmosphere turned real snooty and snobby.

When I asked for a waist size of 40...they got apoplectic and between the gasping and stuttering from the metrosexual pajama-boy manager and his tatooed and pierced idiot of a (possibly) sales girl?...and the shock of the prices...I just got the hell out of the store.

Won't be back, either.

I asked the little turd what his clients median age was...he probably didn't understand what "median" meant, but he told me to the effect that it was much lower than my "median" age.

Same with income.

No point in further conversation...the boy and his salesperson were idiots.

If Cabela's don't have it, I don't need it.

Patagonia be damned.

Bear Ears NM is less than a year old. Lame Duck Obama “created” it a few days before he left office.

The people who live down are most likely to ask you what brand of rifle you carry than to get upset. Lol.

ILLEGAL?

Most Federal land in the West should be released back to the states. It only takes a Presidential decision directive to do so. At worst, it would take a voice vote in Congress.

Hedley Lamarr: Wait a minute... there might be legal precedent. Of course! Land-snatching!
[grabs a law book]
Hedley Lamarr: Land, land... “Land: see Snatch.”
[flips back several pages]
Hedley Lamarr: Ah, Haley vs. United States. Haley: 7, United States: nothing. You see, it can be done!

Actually, from the vantage point of their customers (who are all they care about in an insular world) they are speaking correctly.

They are saying to their privileged customer who is well off and can afford their products and travel to remote parks for extended wilderness experiences: Socialist governments exist to achieve socialist ends and they had stolen land from individuals and local communities to set it aside for you, our well off customers who actually know best how it should be restricted and only enjoyed by the special people targeted for its usage.

I have been to Grand Staircase Escalante and it is so ill defined they can’t even put centers within the supposed new park.

Oh, it was my land? So I could have built a house on it and lived there?

No?

Then it wasn’t “my land”.
