There’s a difference between “making yourself attractive,” as Ms. Lansbury put it, and acting like your coworker— and/or walking around dressed like a Sunset Boulevard hooker. I think Ms. Lansbury could have phrased it a bit differently, but I basically agree with her.
Everyone (at least us “non-pc people”) understands exactly what she’s talking about.
The “hooker look,” some might say “bedroom eyes” or even go farther with “slutty tramp,” (my phraseology) look, so popular in women’s magazines and cover pages of Victoria’s Secret models, today.
