An author’s VERY provocative broadside: Controlling wives and vengeful divorcees [tr]

Making a speech in honour of my parents at their golden wedding anniversary last month, I spoke of my deep pride in their great achievement. Here are two people, I told family and friends, who epitomise all that is good about marriage: a couple who put their egos to one side to raise their family and nurture a lifelong bond. I meant every word. But what I left out is that, despite growing up with such a positive example, nothing will ever persuade me to follow the same path. I will never, ever marry. That’s because the kind of traditional marriage that saw my mum and dad thrive no longer exists. It has been replaced with a modern version so warped that it has ceased to become an institution worth entertaining. Well, not for men anyway.

Shamanism actually had a couple hidden goals:

in the first was to transform woman’s hard work into something taxable.

the next was to turn kids over to government employees.

the last was to drive down white fertility, thereby turning thecountry over to pliable with no experience in holding elected people accountable.

Feminism is a socialist Trojan Horse.

I read the article. The author is right in thinking he should not get married.

He’d make a lousy husband.

No, wait: Shamanism works too!

It just takes little mental gymnastics, is all.

Yes, here is a man who is not going to have children, because he’s not willing to be dinged for child support either.

No children, no future.

Being out of the drama of marriage - this last year has been the best of my life, physically and mentally.

I think the whole MGTOW thing misses the point almost as much as the feminists. Marriage isn’t for the benefit of the man or of the woman, it’s for the benefit of any children that might be produced from the relationship.

I just marked my 60th birthday. I was MGTOW before they even coined the term.

By my early 30s, at the latest, I had all the proof I needed that divorce leaves men financially and emotionally devastated.

Under no-fault divorce, all the wife has to do is decide “I’m not happy,” and there goes half the husband’s assets, his children, and his dignity.

He could be faithful, sober, and working two jobs to support his family. But if Her Majesty decides he has outlived his usefulness, he will pay ... and pay ... and pay ... and pay.

Often, friends wonder why I have never married, and in fact, haven’t even dated for many years. I joke that the only females I like are either old enough to be my mother, young enough to be my daughter, or happily married.

As for the unhappily married ... the only way to deal with them is with as few words as possible.

Loneliness is manageable and even has its compensations. Betrayal can ruin your life permanently.

I tried everything to keep my marriage together, but when she shot and killed her boyfriend and my new refrigerator in my kitchen, I figured it was time to end it. She didn’t end up in jail, I got the kids and the bills and have been paying her alimony going 28 years.

Try these FOUNDATIONAL pillars;

Similar Values
True Friendship
Mutual Trust
Mutual Respect

Too many rely on these ever changing elements, which means they make a poor foundation;

Similar Interests,
Great sex,
Good communication, (can be too shallow and self-serving)

That makes two of us, and I'll never do it again. No way. I just don't see it in my future. I've been far too happy being single despite dating a woman for the past few months who I think is really incredible. Funny thing is, neither of us ever wants to get married to anyone else ever again. My live with someone, marriage no.

Wouldn’t return to biblical patriarchy, virgin brides, and slut-shaming be more effective? Civilizations are built on the backs of the patriarchal family and they tend to die in short order once patriarchal authority is removed.

The Roman Empire got a second lease on life when Christianity spread through its domain because unlike the Romans, Christians practiced patriarchy, virgin brides, and expulsion of sluts from their ranks.

You make a good point.

And I will add that marriage benefits the State. I often say "As goes the American family - so goes America."

And as liberal policies have decimated and ruined marriages and have created havoc in our tradional families - we have reaped the whirlwind with a society on the brink of financial and moral collapse.

“Try these FOUNDATIONAL pillars”

I worked with a Mormon fella years ago. He had all the stuff in place.

He was married with four young kids then his wife decided she didn’t want to be married anymore.

I was eating lunch with him in the lunchroom when the Sheriff walked in with HR lady and they walked away.

The next day when I saw him, he was given 5mins to get his sh!t and get out of the marital home, under escort of the Sheriff.

His combined alimony and child support was 90% of his take home pay. Of course he worked with HR to adjust his withholding and kicked it up to 20% for him.

When I left the company he was living in a single-wide rental trailer, in a park alongside the river. His rent was $355/mo. He had just enough money left over for heat, beans and gas to get to work and back.

That’s it. The whole shebang.

I believe he SHOULD have left the state and changed his identity. Left the ex and the kids to welfare.
