Ponchatoula police arrested a man Sunday morning for bringing a samurai sword in a bar after he had been asked to leave the premises, authorities said.

Shawn Verret was inside the Stray Cats bar when he got into an argument and was asked by bar personnel to leave the premises, the Ponchatoula Police Department said in a news release. Police said Verret re-entered the bar around 2 a.m. with a mask on top of his head and samurai sword in his hands.

He was asked again to leave and police were notified. Police arrived a short time later and found the mask and the sword, the news release said.

Must have been a tough bar. The guy came back with a sword and they asked him to leave again, so he left.

It sure wasn’t a “I need your clothes, your boots and your motorcycle” moment, that’s for sure.

The tattoo can have various meanings: it can signify that the wearer has killed someone or has spent time in prison; that the wearer was raped while incarcerated and tattooed with a tear drop below the eye by the offending party and his accomplices, or it can acknowledge the loss of a family or fellow gang member.

I wonder when he realized the mask was on top of his head and not covering his face.

He lives in Louisiana. Half the state has done time. The other half is doing time.

He is a convicted felon, has a criminal record that includes arrests for burglaries, drugs, domestic abuse and four armed robberies.

You & I both live in Louisiana, are you suggesting I have done time or currently doing time? Which is the case for you? 8>)
