White privilege, social justice, inequality taught at Christian college---Yes, my daughter's school!

So my daughter came home from college a few weeks back saying they're teaching "White privilege, social justice, inequality and income inequality" at her college....a Christian college. There's a white privilege survey that she did, discussions on inequality, unfair advantages, etc--- I was appalled as was my daughter. However, she stood up in class calling out these lies and the teacher let her speak at the end to make her point but ran out of time. The "professor" said she could continue the next day---which she did, but there was a student that was brought into that particular class that's never been there before and they ganged up on her----the teacher did nothing. I honestly feel she set this up--- but that's a side item.

Fast forward to today and I spoke to the Dean of the school We had a 40 minute discussion and I kept pushing this is cultural Marxism ---after mentioning this a few times she really started getting short with me---I kept praying to myself for direction and wisdom. However, the discussion continued on and She actually got to the point where she almost had me convinced I was wrong and over reacting---then the truth was revealed. We were talking about "social justice" and she asked if I believed it in the Church---I said "sure, we are told to help the poor and love one another and we should be teaching this is what the Church should be doing---but not through government". She said that I was making it political... then I retorted "does the Bible say to give to the poor through the government or through God"? She said there's social aspects of giving through government--- I then asked "are you saying there's a time and place for socialism"? It got stone cold quiet! After 5 seconds or so of awkward silence she answered "I'm saying that God can work giving money through government..."

At that point, I simply said "Okay, I think I've heard enough and I'll get back to you".

I was absolutely appalled. Cultural Marxists running every aspect of our society and more concerning, Christian institutions. At least be honest up front and tell me the truth you're a socialist as we could have save 40 minutes of beating around the bush. The moral of this---make sure your kids are prepared and armed with the Truth and read carefully into everything they are being taught.

Conservatives are the most generous when it comes to charitable giving. Liberals are quite stingy.

Why are you shy about naming the school.

In El Salvador in 1979, the Church was leading the charge toward revolution with its Theology of Liberation. Not all of the Catholics...just La Iglesia Popular. Liberal Protestants too poured in to march in Leftist parades and show “solidarity with the people of El Salvador”.

I often said in the ‘80s that the average Salvadoran vaquero with barely two pennies to rub together is a stronger anti-communist than the average upper middle class person of my home town of Nashville, Tennessee.

This tripe flows through many once “Catholic” schools like Notre Dame, Marquette, St Louis U, and many more.

“Liberals are quite stingy.”

Liberals delegate their compassion to the government.

Virtually all universities and seminaries are but extensions of the Frankfurt School.

I know more than most about “Christian” schools, colleges, and seminaries; I cannot name one I trust.

The only schools I would consider off hand are Hillsdale or Grove City.

Sounds like an Iranian styled theocracy. What about separation of church and state?

BTW, you are to be commended for taking on the dean.

So, the IRS are actually angels of God?

Go back to the dean and ask her:

Where in scripture can you find Yeshua preaching to His followers that they should go demand the sword and power of Caesar - in other words the power of secular government, to use it to demand the right to take funds from their neighbors to do the “good works” commanded by Christ?

Then also remind the dean that Yeshua was tested by Satan who offered Yeshua the keys to all the kingdoms of the world, again, in other words all the secular powers of the world, and Yeshua answered that they were not part of His kingdom.

The dean has been indoctrinated by “Liberal” theologians who were indoctrinated in college with Marxist dialectics in “Liberal Arts” courses, without anyone telling the truth of their sources - Marx not Christ.

She goes to Cairn university (Formerly Philadelphia Biblical University)

I'm horrified to hear that. I remember when their campus building was in Center City near City Hall.

Back 20 years ago

God and Man at Yale, W F Buckley, was written in 1951. In 1964 at Wheaton College I gave equal respect to Keynes, Hayek, Friedman and others. My Economics Prof said Milton Friedman was not a respected economist and I shouldn't quote him.

I complained to the department chair, who was also the faculty advisor to the RINO, Mark Hatfield Young Republican group. The department chair sympathized with me but explained he could do nothing. The Midwest college accrediting body was threatening to de-credit Wheaton College because it allowed for creationism and intelligent design.

Wheaton College made a deal. Wheaton would hire liberals in the social studies department and be allowed to maintain its position on creation.

Yeah, we knew a few people who attended when it was known as Philadelphia College of Bible and very conservative both theologically and politically.

Harvard, Princeton, and Yale are historically Christian universities.

There’s Christian and there’s “christian”. People grab that all the time in attempt to gain credibility. Doesn’t make it true.

what’s the name of the school?

My first thought too. Why wasn't the school named?

"Render unto Caesar that which is Caesar's, and unto the Lord that which is the Lord's."

Mercy belongs to the Lord. You can't be generous with someone else's money. You can only be a thief.
