Has anyone seen the new Star Trek series ("Discovery")?
How would you rate it?
ST is over for me. And I consider myself a Trekkie...or used to.
Here is a great episode of Star Trek Continues. I saw the first episode of Discovery and was bored with it
To make matters worse, “Midnight’s Edge” reports that many of the merchandisers are giving this show a pass. The only one on record which supports the show says they’ll make STD merchandise “eventually” after they complete a slew of Classic Trek products first.
Thought it sucked Couldn’t watch more than 15 min. of first show.
USS Shenzhou
It just occurred to me. The obnoxious XO “Michael” is Stalinist Sen. Camel-uh Harris.
Oh My...
“Star Trek Discovery” is “STD”?
Thats an Andorian.
They should have called it, “Star Trek Diversity”
Please identify the goddess with Chekhov.
Keith Andes was a pretty respectable actor. He must have really needed the money.
if you have read any of the advance material, it’s clear it’s politically correct social engineering crap.
I was only a mild fan of the show but enjoyed most of the series and movies. JJ Abrams reboot killed the franchise for me when he destroyed Vulcan. The sequels to the reboot and this new series are dead to me.
Film has the ability to preserve beauty as it was, forever then, unaffected by the decades since.
Saw the first episode of STD
SPOILER ALERT
First Officer Sheniqua Burnham commits mutiny in episode 1, no one seems to care. Seems reasonable.
Yup.
