CNN Anchor: NFL Owners Have Data That Support Trump’s Claim on NFL Protests Hurting TV Ratings

CNN host John King said Sunday that NFL owners have data supporting President Donald Trump's claim that television ratings have gone down because of players' protests during the national anthem.

"NFL owners so far siding with their players for their right to free speech, but they're also keeping close tabs on the financial impact and the public relations impact of this confrontation," King said.

He went on to say that the NFL owners have research "clearly showing the president is right" when he claims the national anthem protests are one factor in TV ratings dropping.

"Since the president weighed in, the owners are now dealing with a surge in ticket holder requests for refunds," King said.

We did not turn on the Thursday night game, nor did we turn on the Sunday games in our house. I hate it. I love football, but my country is way to important than to have it destroyed by a bunch of hood rats.

Monument tear down, Antifa, BLM, white supremacist protests, NFL kneeling during anthem, anti-Trump protest and on and on are tied together. Leftist propaganda media/hollyweird helping perpetuate the destruction of the American constitution, culture, language, way of life.

now add to that the number of boys playing soccer in school instead of football, and the numbers will continue to raise

And that is why the networks aren’t showing the National Anthem at the games starting this week. They are trying to defuse the situation because the networks are the ones who will take the initial Financial hit when they have to charge less for commercials based on reduced ratings. An estimate earlier this week looked at as much as 200 million less in TV commercial Revenue.

"NFL owners so far siding with their players for their right to free speech, but they're also keeping close tabs on the financial impact and the public relations impact of this confrontation," King said.

The right to free speech doesn't extend to the workplace. It's the NFL owners who have the free speech right to determine what is said by their football team when they are at work.

King is an idiot for not knowing this. And the owners probably know better but it's easier for them to pass the buck and say that, "the players have the right", and "it's out of our hands".

Trump is amazing. He is better than a crystal ball at knowing how Americans feel on any subject. He has been incredibly consistent at making a so-called controversial statement, getting blasted for it by the left, and then being proven right. I’ve lost track of how many times.

i.e., Trump actually bothered the read Saul Alinsky's Rules For Radicals and used it to drive the Establishment Left totally nuts. What Trump did last Friday essentially exposed the NFL as a bunch of Leftists, and they are about to suffer the same issues that plagued Target Corporation.

The murder rate in Chicago skyrocketed from 2015 to 2016.

So what changed between 2015 and 2016?

Both the current and former Police Superintendents agree on one thing, criminals have been emboldened by the Left’s current jihad against law enforcement.

Sounds like taking a knee is empowering and creating more black deaths..

Current Chicago Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson:

Johnson acknowledged in a recent interview with The Associated Press that officers have become more cautious — in part out of fear of becoming the next “viral video.”

That, he said, has “emboldened” criminals.

“Criminals watch TV, pay attention to the media,” he said. “They see an opportunity to commit nefarious activity.”

Former Superintendent Garry McCarthy:

Former Chicago Police Superintendent Garry McCarthy on Sunday blamed the Black Lives Matter movement for causing a rise in violent crime around the country.

During a radio interview with John Catsimatidis on AM 970 in New York, McCarthy blamed protests against police brutality in cities like Baltimore, Ferguson, Mo., and Charlotte, N.C., for creating a “political atmosphere of anti-police sentiment.”

“So what’s happening, and this is ironic, is that a movement with the goal of saving black lives at this point is getting black lives taken, because 80 percent of our murder victims here in Chicago are male blacks,” McCarthy said. “Less than half of 1 percent of all the shootings in this city involve police officers shooting civilians.”

nbc was only to happy to show Bennett of the Seahawks and other lineman sitting.

Then the stupid NBC sideline reporter explained the stupid shirt that the colts were wearing with the SJW terminology.

I realize that Comcast/NBC/MSNBC are all progressive ...

Joe Lockhart, the Director of Communication for the NFL was Clinton’s Press Secretary when Monica took a knee for Bill.

Lockhart rented his Washington DC home to the Obamas when they moved from the Whitehouse.....

When I read the other day where the NFL’s favorability rating had dropped to 17%, I knew they were in trouble.

I hope another pro football league gets going. Now would be the time to start talking because of this great opportunity.

These “Obamabot” NFL low life traitors and turncoats have slit their career throats, committing professional suicide. Shucks, maybe Obama, Clinton and the Democrat Party will pay their salaries for them...but, I really think not!!! I can assure you folks, the NFL will never be the same. Trump didn’t beat them down...he slaughtered them!!!

Bottom Line: Obama, NFL, NBS & Maybe MLB = Dumb, Dumber & Dumbest!!! End of story!!!

I like to call it what it is. The Black Power Salute. This is getting really good. Logic would dictate a big drop in fans/viewers.
