Alternate title “Harrison Ford crashes again. “

Philip K. Dick is a god to secular hedonists.

I have read much science fiction. I consider him overrated.

I knew it: review embargo plus leftist raves.

I liked, not loved, the original: atmospheric esthetic but embryonic plot.

I also consider Harrison Ford a limited actor.

I am sure his peripheral vision is excellent.

Ryan Gosling: Welcome to the Age of the Masculinity-Challenged Sex Symbol.

American women have been so damaged by feminism.

The second gal looks like Romy Schneider. I saw her in a Chabrol film and she was stunning in middle age.

Actually, Romy died age 43.

The first (and so far only) bad review I’ve seen for this one.

Give me Larry Niven.

How about Ringworld or Rendezvous with Rama as a movie. :)

One of the biggest weaknesses of his books was their titles. ;)

Not a Ryan Gosling fan ? I thought he was ok. His mouth is shut on politics and he understands that he is “employed as an actor”.

Which means he’s just a dude doing his job. And I like his movies, even if they are very hard to understand. “Only God Forgives” is the model for Duterte.

I made the mistake of paying six bucks to see BR on DirectTV. An hour in, I’m bored to tears. The movie is mostly eerily orchestrated dead moments leading to nothing. Critics seemed mostly to laud it for its faithfulness to the original.

That’s a silly metric. It has to stand on its own, and this doesn’t.

Heck, let there be a “Known Universe” channel- all Niven, all the time!
