Though more rare than with food allergies, there are people who will die if exposed to concentrations of pet dander.
I rather imagine they might be screaming and panicking if encased in a metal tube with animals.
Not that there aren’t people who just have some nutty phobia, just be aware that there are people for whom this is life and death.

Probably not, allergies seem to be a badge of honor today to gain privilege. Full disclosure, I am allergic to bee -stings. I still walk outside and I don’t run for cover when I see a bee. I wouldn’t hang around a hive but no-one except immediate family and my doctor knows I am allergic.
Also a lot of service dogs are fake. I know someone in the business. I wouldn’t call anyone out on it but it is abused.
