Nicely hypocritical! You have enough gumption to boycott BK over their gayburger but somehow we should continue to fund and support an NFL that permits attacks on patriotism and an ESPN that ignores attacks on our President - and their sponsors.

Sorry, I’m not buying it. It’s a great idea to pass the word about the other offenders and to recommend alternatives to them - but giving the NFL and ESPN a pass?

Broncs decimate Cowboys 42-17 on Sunday. Jones should have called for the bus early in the fourth quarter the team was ready to go home.

No, like ALL of us, I pick my own battles. Do you use Amazon products, Microsoft, Google, Apple? Do you have cable or satellite? Then you too are feeding the monster.

I did not tell ANYone not to go to Burger King. I said I had a reason that I decided PERSONALLY not to go to Burger King. No hypocrisy there.

By all means, expose ESPN and the NFL, and all the others, but enough with the "if you don't boycott what I boycott you are treasonous" approach. I would suggest that besides getting the word out on Free Republic to other conservatives, we can do our penance by donate our money, time, skills, and prayers to worthy churches, charities and political causes.

Sometimes there are other factors. For instance, Lowes gives money to Planned Parenthood. So, I was going to Home Depot, which has its own problems, but those are often the only options. Then I found out that the LOCAL Lowes manager donated free paint to our new Crisis Pregnancy Center. On a per store basis, that more than offset the Planned Parenthood donation, so I started patronizing Lowe's again.

The right is fractured as it is to start throwing words like treasonous and hypocrite around at FReepers of otherwise good will.

Apology accepted. Please don't misunderstand me, I, like millions of former NFL fans used to really enjoy NFL football for decades but no more. You see your assumption is that our problem with the NFL is about "politics"; it isn't. As a matter of fact the problem isn't about politics at all, its about values and our love of country.

What has been and is actively and intentionally taking place is an attack by the NFL on America, traditional American values, our culture and our very way of life. This is reality.

Multitudes of NFL players, owners, the commissioner and others within the NFL are intentionally seeking to destroy the country from within using the NFL as a platform and their means of accomplishing their goal.

The NFL is no longer a "game". They view and are using it as a platform and tool for their perverse social engineering and not so subtle goal of "the fundamental transformation of America."

Millions of former NFL fans have rightfully come to the conclusion that the NFL in reality now HATES America, traditional American values and looks upon and treats its own fans and customer base with utter contempt and disdain, hence it is no longer worthy of their support, money, time, and emotional energy.

Why would ANY NFL fan continue to support an organization and "game" that actively promotes these perversely destructive goals and habitually acts this way? The answer is readily found in the massive desertion of the NFL's former fan base throughout our entire country = former NFL fans love America, more than we love a mere game.

The NFL has brought about its own destruction by its own hands.

The AFC west is the strongest conference in the NFL this year.
Broncos, Raiders, Chiefs all 2-0. LA Chargers @ 0-2 the exception. My prediction ... a team from the AFC west will be in the SB come February 2018. Hopefully, as a long time Broncos season ticket holder it's the Broncs.
