My one and only pick this week: that ingrate seahag bennett will sit on his America-hating ass during the National Anthem.
Hey FReepers and all American patriots:
The nfl hates you!

Sheesh! My post was not to you.
However, as it seems that I seemingly jumped all over your
last nerve, let me apologize for thinking that supporting an
organization that is hurting the country as a whole is wrong.
Do have a nice day!

Understand, this has been going on for years, every time the NFL thread is posted, comments like yours, and about 10 this time. We know how y’all feel, no need to keep telling us.
Sorry if I sounded testy, you have a good day as well.

I’m not a betting man, but if I were, I would put money down that Bennett will also jump off-sides during the game.

>>why not leave us alone and go start an NFL hate thread instead of posting the same thing over and over and over and over and over and over again every week?<<
It’s not personal; we just want to see the NFL die and all these players on the streets.

“Its a break from politics for some of us and not your concern.”
That’s the point - it’s NOT a break from politics - it’s leftist politics on steroid.

NFL live thread week 2 ...
No matter what is in this Colorado reefer... my Boys will survive their Mile High encounter with the Broncs-- Broncs decimate Cowboys 42-17 on Sunday. Jones should have called for the bus early in the fourth quarter the team was ready to go home.

So, you’re pushing NFL football on ESPN? How treasonous is that? Can’t get enough disrespect to our National Anthem or anti Trump remarks from their commentators?

Or ...
As a local sports writer put it ...
Does anybody have a hankie? I fear Cowboys owner Jerry Jones might need to dab some teardrop stains from his gold Hall of Fame jacket. As a Super Bowl contender, the Broncos exposed Dallas as a pretender. All hat. No cattle.

I will be boycotting.
I get more than enough college football. I don’t think I will ever go back to watching as much NFL as I used to watch. They derailed this fan and I am not planning to come back.

ESPN has a certain kind of problem, but more cultural decay has probably happened at the hands of CBS, NBC, ABC, PBS and perhaps especially FOX. All of the pay channels have their sins as well.
I can judge with some detachment, as I don't even have a TV, and haven't for three decades. It was just a decision I made some time ago, and not meant to be virtue signaling. I even chased the Nielsen people away when they wanted to use my family for a week or two.
Maybe you don't watch any of the aforementioned channels. Do you have a car? Do you use gasoline from nations that sponsor terrorism in the Middle East? Maybe you use Citgo, and sponsor Communism in our hemisphere.
Yes, it would do well for all of us to make little sacrifices for our country, and give up some of the pleasantries we used to get to enjoy. I suggest we pick our own personal sacrifices and leave others be, making the exception only for those things that are inherently bad (e.g. things whose raison d'etre are evil, like Tinder); and the flipside, buycotts. Instead of tearing people down for going to Burger King because they served a Pride Whopper (I stopped patronizing BK for that one) tell them to go to Chick-Fil-A and Hobby Lobby because they are good people who do things well.
And by the way ... the Cowboys will stink up the joint, AGAIN!

Impy, if you reply to any of these NFL-Haters posts, then you give them the right to believe they can tell us what to watch or enjoy. While I have never seen anyone on my NFL LIVE THREADS support Kaepernick or any other of his 'anti-Star Spangle Banner' cohorts, these folk demanding we cow down and agree with their opinion, and only their opinion.
They are worse than the "Black Lives Matter" crowd and their ilk that say anything said that does not jive with their views is "hate speech" and should not be allowed. I say they are worse because as Freepers, they should know that once you forbid any Free Speech, then you have no right of Free Speech at all--
They have the right to disagree with us but no sumbitch on the face of the earth has the right to tell me or anyone else just what they can say, watch or enjoy!
Leave them to play with their fingers and toes in silence and scratch one another on the back like chimps checking for fleas. If they do not get noticed and replies to, then they have no power at all. And that is why the cow chews the cud.

As another local news anchor put it, "Man, that Colorado weed is so great... it makes me believe I could have won at the Little Big Horn!
But just recall the only time My Boys played your guy in a Super Bowl... we won 2710, so ne warned that what comes around, goes around--
