Prayer Request for my cousin and his family who stayed in Missouri City, Texas.
I have another cousin who spoke to him recently and Skip did not seem to be worried yet I know where their house is in Missouri City southwest of Houston neat Mission Valley Drive and Glenn Lakes Lane and it is prone to flood as they did evacuate when Hurricane Ike hit in September of 2008. In this phone call he said the water rose in the street but went down when it stopped. BUT it does not look like it is going to stop anytime soon for the next few days.
Even if he does not want to hear from me, please say a small prayer for them as I still love them no matter whatever he that may think of me--
Dear Lord, please watch over Skip and his family. Keep them safe in this time of need and allow them to make through this terrible ordeal. In the name of the Son, the Father and the Holy Ghost, Amen.
Prayers for their safety and prayers that Skip realizes that life is short, precious and too fragile to let the past ruin the present and future. (((Hugs))) Mom

Dear Father, please place Your hand of protection over Skip and his entire family. Please, also, heal the rift between Skip and Bender2. May this natural disaster soften Skip’s heart turn him back to his estranged family. You are the Great Healer, Lord.

Quick aside: no TS, but in March '92 my mother flew into Hobby for my wedding and it took us 6 hours to get home from there (we lived at 9900 Memorial at the time). Terrible day, I-10 inside the loop flooded big time! What a day!

I pray they are ok and I hope you one day reconcile with your cousin.
My uncle lost his wife recently, he has a son he hasn’t seen in 20 years, my uncle doesn’t even know what he changed his name to, very sad.
On my mom’s side, my grandpa left my grandma for another woman, I was 20 or so before I met him, last year at his 90th, all his children were finally together for the first time, my aunt and one of my uncles hadn’t spoken to him in some time. It was nice to see. And I met my half-uncle and half-aunt, I have a cousin that was drafted by the Mets.
As long as you’re both still breathing, it’s not too late.
