He should give members of Congress the chance to switch to his party..if they don't then back Republicans in their district in the primary that would promise do so if they win in the general election.. DO NOT run 3rd party candidates in the 2018 general election since that may allow a liberal to sneak in if the Republican/Conservative vote is split
Target very red areas first that he did well in 2016.....get the fondation laid...get a least a few members of his party in Congress then build from there......

And please do yourself and everyone else a big favor and don't attempt to even vaguely bring up the start of the GOP! That was a different time, with very different people voting, and the old WHIG party was SO fractured ( even more than the GOP is now! ), that the largest faction formed the GOP. And even with that...it took many election cycles for the GOP to come together, solidify, and win.

Trump pretty well owns the R Party, as it is. Certainly he saved it by borrowing their ticket to run on. That’s what all this RINO Establishment whining today is about.
They can’t even work up a good impeachment, because the people are with Trump and against them. Their approval is at TEN PERCENT! Ask yourself, now, why is that?

I agree with you, The third party is not the way to go. The time is now here to begin a massive campaign to rid the Republican party of all RINOS. It would take a few years using the primary election process...but it would be successful, and cam be accomplished.
The Democrats have handed the entire South over to Donald J. Trump. No Southerner with family roots to Confederate soldiers, most of whom owned no slaves at all, but were fighting for their homes, farms and families, will ever cast a vote for a Democrat candidate again. The tearing down of their Statues/Monuments and the wanton destruction of their history and heritage is an unforgiveable sin.
One has to know were they came from, for good, bad, or otherwise, because it allows us to set decent, honorable paths to the future. Democrats are out to take down the nation with their games of hate, envy, greed and power. The Democrat Party will lose...in fact they will die politically.

It took ending slavery to finally kill the Whig party and replace it with the Republican party. The Whig leadership, much like today’s RINOs, could not abide ending slavery, “because it is good for business”.
Today’s Whigs are not Republicans. Instead they want an internationalist Corporatocracy, a world run by corporations. While utterly contemptuous of socialists, they still hope to use them as useful idiots, to compel the public to pay for its own needs to keep them working for the corporations.
That is, taxation to fund their own retirements, and taxation to fund their own health care, and taxation to educate them just enough to be workers, not thinkers or individuals, just tools. And if they are not suitable to be workers, then to exterminate them.
If you’ve ever seen the 1975 movie Rollerball (not its idiotic remake), that is exactly what RINOs *want* the world to be. A restoration of feudalism, but with them as the nobility, and everyone else being peasant workers. Rule by ruthless hereditary billionaires, directing an immense bureaucracy.

Ross Perot who is an order of magnitude richer than Trump did not have the money to do it. No one has the money to do it.
And it’s a fool’s errand. Any time a party splits, all that occurs is:
1. The opposition party seizes power, and
2. Whatever party wins the battle eventually absords the dying party.
So, you would end up with ten years of Democratic dominance followed by Speaker of the House Paul Ryan of The Trumpian Party.
How about this instead:
It’s time to destroy, completely and utterly, the liberal / progressive / democratic / communist / socialist party.
At FR it’s key to check your attitude at the door. The correct attitude is “WE’RE WINNING because it’s what we do”
Remember Trump’s line from early 2016:
“What makes you think you can win the presidency?”
“I will win the presidency because I’m a winner. That’s what I do. I win.”
The problem with a Trumpian Party is that there would be no real ideas, just Trump. And when Trump (who I should point out is a 71 year old junk food addict) leaves the stage, then what?
I mentioned Perot earlier, but he actually started a party and no one knows what it ever actually stood for. Because without Perot’s idiosyncracies, there was no there there.

The overwhelming number of elected Republicans support out POTUS. They have wisely remained silent, on the Charlottesville McAuliffe Massacre, either way, for the simple reason, they want to wait for the case to be clarified by the DOJ & FBI, before the jury returns its verdict.
Babble anti-Trump rave and rants, from Romney, Rubio, McCain, Flake, the Bushes, Collins, Graham and ten or twelve more Trump haters means nothing. There are 52 Republican Senators, the VP, Pence and 247 Republican Congressmen. That adds up to 300 elected politicians. Twenty or even thirty Trump haters adds up to “zilch”.
At the end of the day...the bad actor and bad boy in this devastating Charlottesville massacre in without doubt, Democrat governor, Terry McAuliffe. His evil brew to toss the extreme, nutcase “armed” lefties and righties into the same ring with no police action to control them was a cardinal sin against the American people and the nation itself. Nobody who is serious about running for Federal office is going to join a "Trump Party" ... and I really mean nobody.
I think we need to do something different. I will not suggest that I know the best plan, but letting the gop keep rigging these primaries is not an option. How about instead of yelling at people, we spitball ideas and come up with some workable solutions? What is your solution for stopping the COC and rino’s picking our republican do nothing candidate for us?

It's GREAT that he is going after Flake; however, he needs to go after many more of the damned RINOS, with more people who support him and us.
We haven't the luxury of time, nor the numbers of like minded pols, to really start some new party. WE need to work from within, fully expose ( Trump has done an excellent job of that, with just being there! ) those who aren't on our side at all, inside the GOP.
The lefties have, for well over 100 years, picked people, trained them, and then sprung them on the populace.
