About 13 years ago traffic on a major route home was severely slowed down by a family of ducklings running hither and yon after their mother was killed by a car trying to attain the median of a 6 lane highway.....I didn’t care about the delay, I was just saddened about what I was witnessing........
Mine too. I can’t believe it came out in 87. I feel old.
Hollywood wonders why they lose money but it’s simply because they do not make good movies anymore and they haven’t in years. They are so out of ideas that they probably remake Roxanne but if they do they will ruin it.

How many thousands of people with important jobs were delayed from work? were firefighters unable to reach their stations? Were health professionals unable to reach their patients? Lives may have been altered, harmed, or even lost for the sake of a kitten. Not a good trade in my book.
do firefighters not get to their job in a rain storm? Yeah, they know another route, do ambulances not get thru because of smoke from a grass fire? yeah they do, they know another route.

You don’t delay hundreds of thousands of people for the sake of a kitten. Your statement equates people to kittens.
My statement equates a life to life. Delay for a week if they have to. I guess it’s a matter of conscience and compassion. I’m guessing you’re the type who would see a wounded cat on the side of the road on your way to a date and would pass it on by.
