I will wager that some politician or media person will claim that the "catastrophic" 8/21 solar eclipse will be caused by global warming.
The biggest “catastrophe” around here (we are in the path of totality) may be to some peoples’ pocketbooks. A fellow I know is renting a small, very(!) unassuming cabin to a film crew, for a few days, for $8000.
Now it’s Solar Warming or Galatic change. Space carbon taxes are coming
I only learned he was dead when I went to find a photo of him. By that time I had already compiled the post. I figured, the comments were so dumb and humorous, that it didn’t really matter if he were still around or not.
Not quite. They will say that because of climate change, the temperature did not drop as much in this solar eclipse as it did in the past.
But your extra tax dollars can end that nightmare and restore Big Temperature Drops in future solar eclipses.
She would NEVER say Lance Armstrong, for obvious reasons, but she might say Louis Armstrong.
Global Warming will not cause the Eclipse.
However, it will cause clouds over Upstate SC; two million visitors will be pissed off that they missed it; gridlock; road rage; shots fired; pandemonium ensues; martial law; secession; civil war; collapse of Western Civilization.
Ignore Global Warming at your peril.
Wrong! Wrong! Wrong!
The PC term is now Climate Change.
Global Warming is no longer PC.
I just wonder! Ha any of our eminent scientist here at Free Republic done any calculations as to how much energy is not hitting the earth due to the eclipse? should be rather significant.
I forgot about that idiotic statement.
Maybe Guam can just tip over when the nukes come flying in. Let the bottom of the island take the hits and then return to normal after the crisis has passed.
Nah, people like eclipses.
