It’s bad enough that young men get killed in war.
When young women are killed, then the future is killed.
Women do not belong in ships or submarines, in aircraft of any type, special forces, or in ground combat and combat service units.
A minuscule number of women are willing or capable of being in theater, perhaps costing lives of our men who are instinctively trying to compensate for the inferior capabilities of women, at least in conventional ground warfare.
Women may have the heart for combat, but in ground combat, I don’t get it.
The guy was “moto” and she lacked aggression. A local kid kicked butt in the pugil stick fight at boot. He wasn’t very tall nor heavy set. He could, however, work himself into a frenzy like an angry Doberman. Do or die.
pretty much how I received my Pugile stick introduction... I kept going back until the instructor said I’d taken enough... or at least I think that’s what he said ... I was a little wobbly by then.. :)
During Plebe Summer at the Naval Academy, we had to do some boxing to "pass" our physical training portion. I am extremely near-sighted and was attending Annapolis on a medical waiver for my eyesight.
When I went into the ring, I had to remove my glasses. The bell rang, I moved forward, and commenced to throw a number of unopposed punches.
I must have punched those turn-buckles for a good 30 seconds or so before the ref turned me around to face my opponent.
Once I knew where he was, I held my own pretty well. I just kept punching at the moving shadow. I don't think that I hit the ref even once ...

I was about the same! I got matched up against the biggest bastard in my platoon. Then I got my butt cheeed out by the DI because I did t use proper technique! Whatever, I was just trying not to get killed!
Jeeze, I don’t think the WM even had time to get the license plate of that truck that ran over her! I admire the spirit, but muscle & mass are often overriding factors in infantry hand-to-hand.
She was obviously in the wrong place. I’m at least glad they didn’t let her get injured. It was stupid to even let her do it.

Problem is worse than that. She had a couple of seconds to react and did nothing. She could have knelt down and landed one in the cajones when he went up high. Instead she acted like a deer in the headlights.
Fighting is about reaction time. It was clear she didn’t have any.
But...but ....Wonder Woman and Charlize Theron and stuff!
He should've taken it easy on her. Surely ISIS would.
Give that girl an honorable discharge, a Betty Crocker cookbook with matching apron and a pre-made profile on a couple good dating sites. Preferably before someone dies trying to save her from a jihadi who sees a hot white woman and goes “jackpot!” or she fails in actual combat.
If women cannot protect themselves at a kick-ass cocktail party, how can they be expected to protect anyone else?
