This gender neutral nonsense is the latest fad. And technically, “gender” is the wrong word, it refers to language.
In reality there are two sexes, and surgery cannot change one’s DNA or chromosomes.
We are either male or female, regardless of how we dress, or the pronouns we use.
The retired head of Psychiatry for Johns Hopkins Hospital and Medical School says “transgender” is a mental illness. Who would know better?

Pink for girls and blue for boys is indeed a recent (post-WWII) phenomenon, but it's more likely to have come to the US from France, where it was traditional.
