Christian soccer player Jaelene Hinkle has withdrawn herself from the U.S. soccer team after it was announced that the squad would be wearing rainbow colored 'gay pride' jerseys in their upcoming game. She cited "personal reasons" for her refusal to play, according to The Christian Post.
The star proudly declares Colossians 3:23 on her Twitter which says: "And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men." "If you live for people's acceptance, you'll die from their rejection," the tagline also notes on her profile.

This is where the people need to take a stand. If a gay man wants to show he’s proud to be gay, let him wear a shirt. But why does she have to be proud the guy is gay?
Happy for her decision. Disappointing for her not to play, but she is already an inspiration to many of us.

Our son had a friend in theater years ago who was an amazing performer. She received the offer to be in the chorus in Les Miserables - on tour. Great gig for a newbie. She had to turn it down because she was not allowed to opt out of the prostitute scene. I need to see what she’s up to now.

Not too long ago conservatives and Christians were chided and chastised for opposing "normalized" acceptance of sodomites. "Who is it hurting"..."How does this affect you" were the complaints of those who said they just wanted to be free to live their lives. Now, submission to this ongoing insanity is required...as we knew it would.

Exactly. And who made this decision and why did they think it was a good idea? Putting such a politically charged message on the jerseys is sure to alienate about half the US population. Why can’t they just leave it at “USA on the jerseys?
The original symbol of the "Gay" Rights movement after Stonewall was the phoenix, the mythical bird that flew out of its own ashes. Historically, homosexual takeover has preceded the decline and destruction of a society. Therefore, if this follows precedent, we will go under.
I trust the social construct that emerges will inscribe it in its founding documents to never allow it to happen again.
