Heavenly Father, The Mist??????

I hated that ending and to this day refuse to watch certain movies because of it. I actually have nightmares from that. The idea of surrendering your honor to shoot your own grates on every nerve I have.

I like the endings where the hero dies. Or it just ends - sort of left unfinished. My wife hates them!

She says “I go to the movies to be entertained and have fun!”

“But - isn’t it much more interesting when you ponder the fate of the hero, and what it all meant?”

“NO! That isn’t fun!”

I kinda agree. It’s hard to see such a movie as being the best of all time, but I’m inclined to say so.
