She probably has grandkids now. Here she is now asking a grandson:

I wonder if he figured out that 13 went into 34 easier than 33 goes into 54?

What she did was wrong on every possible level, but I think you need to remember the death of her brother as a child to understand what happened. Her parents left her and her baby brother, around 5yo, alone in the backyard pool for a few minutes. Mary Kay went inside to watch tv and her brother drowned. I think that messed her up and she never got over it.
Mary Kay has always seemed like an extremely needy, clinging vine type of woman. Self centered too, as I recall it. I believe she already had three or four children with her then-husband.
She simply ‘discarded’ her family role with them and walked away. It made HER feel good, so what’s the problem?
Mary’s current husband Vili Fualaau, her former student still doesn’t seem very bright.
Barbara Walters asked him how he would feel if one of his daughter came home and said she was in love with her teacher.
His response was that he ‘would be against that’.
