This is a 1 1/2 minute parody video of those Chevy TV commercials, the ones where "real people" gush over all the awards Chevy cars have won. Very funny video, I think.
Yes, but the reverse isn't always the case. It's easy to build a car that can go 90 days without problems, but it doesn't follow that same car will be reliable over the next 3 to 5 years.
That said, GM seems to have pretty good reliability with some of their US built car lines now, based on some of the reports I've read.
Right. They get dumber and dumber.
AS IF I’m going to choose a car based on what some adolescent morons SAY, who probably can’t even conceive of how the internal combustion engine works.
My favorite (meaning the stupidest) is the Subaru commercials... After about a century of perfecting auto engineering on this planet, Subaru thinks grown, rational adults will select a car because some clown announcer (who over pronounces all his words) says, ‘LOVE ... it’s what makes a Subaru a Subaru”. Really?
“Love’ won’t get your a(* out of a jam on the HWY and it won’t take the place of solid engineering, performance, dependability, resale value, etc. or anything ELSE that matters about making a car selection. But, like everything ELSE, young people regard facts as totally incidental and know NOTHING about substance, logic or value for money. For THEM-it’s all about EMOTION.
I don’t like the look of the new Corvettes. They look like crap......................
Some good ones at that link. Thanks.
Because of the gay Kenyan polesmoker, GM is now partially owned by the autoworkers union, and thus I will never, ever buy anything they produce, ever.
They stole the value of that company from the shareholders.
It should be given back to them.
Thanks for reminding us of how the “New GM” was formed. I would hate to see them go out of business because that would leave us with one major manufacturer left, but I see your points too.
The smart ass guy reminds me of Kripke from the Big Bang Theory.
> My wife just bought a 2017 Escape, and even though it is the “Titanium” model, it just feels cheap inside. <
I was always partial to the Mercury versions of Ford’s cars. So naturally Ford discontinued Mercury.
