This is a 1 1/2 minute parody video of those Chevy TV commercials, the ones where "real people" gush over all the awards Chevy cars have won. Very funny video, I think.
He’s done several, they are all hilarious.
I hate those commercials.
They are on constantly, cable and airwaves.
They should stop and get a new shtick.............
I'm no fan of GM after the bailouts, but I would consider giving them another chance, for the sake of the US economy, after this country came to its senses and elected President Trump.
The only thing lacking in those commercials is “ Hurry up and buy one before the next recall”.
The guy on his knees proposing to the Silverado is especially annoying............
Also watch the same commercial, there’s a black guy in a blue shirt that disappears and reappears................

And the next! I don't shake hands!
Funny you should say that.
I only buy foreign cars, but when I rent, sometimes I get stuck with a Chevy. At least half the time, it's a disaster like locking myself out of the car because I was to not to know that the door locked behind me when I got out with the ending running to ask a policeman a question; or barely being able to see behind me because half of the back window is opaque and the center supports are massive (and also opaque).
It amazes me that a company like GM wouldn't make sure that their cars in the major rental fleets aren't at least twice as good as what they sell. Those rental experiences are the real test drives.
I would NEVER buy a Chevy.

One of my favorite car commercials is this one. (Mainly because the teenage in this looks and act exactly like my next door neighbor’s daughter!)

Friend swore never to buy a GM product after the government bailout stiffed bond holders, many of whom were elderly. However, he was seduced by the new Corvette Stingray and bought a 2015 Z-51, 2LT model after reading numerous positive reviews. The upside is he loves the car’s performance but there are two irritating issues that can not be fixed and are ignored by Chevrolet: loud squeaky brakes and an automatic transmission that hesitates between first and second on the initial shift after the car has been sitting. The car has been to the dealer 3-4 times under warranty but the problem persists. In reading the Corvette Forum, he found that this was a fairly common problem although the dealership acts as if this is unique to him. My wife wanted me to consider a Chevy Traverse but based on his treatment and problems we’ll be getting another Honda or Toyota. How can you trust a company that won’t stand behind its’ top or certainly most visible product?
It’s difficult to have long term “quality” without delivering initial quality (Design, Build and Supplier).
Squeaky brakes are not a real problem. Auto shifting is always a problem solved by buying the manual transmission.
YMMV...
Aaarrgghhh. AGREED! These commercials, although muted here, are really annoying, repetitive crap. Wholly cheesy.
Almost makes a fella miss the old "fawning models" meme. d;^)
Government Motors. **spit**
My first car was the last Chevy I’ll ever own. I learned a lot about car parts as I replaced them on that POS.
To be fair, Chevys are cheap compared to their competition. As there isn’t a lot of profit in the entry level vehicles that Chevy mostly makes, cost-cutting has to show up somewhere.
I don’t know what it is about these Chevy commercials, but I quickly grab the remote and mute every darn one of them. I don’t think I’ve ever heard more than the first three words of any of this crap. It certainly wouldn’t convince me to buy a Chevy. Worst commercials on television.
True, but most car reviewers were giving the new 8 speed transmission a thumbs up and 0-60 times were slightly faster with the automatic. One of the solutions for the shift problem was to start in manual (paddle shift) mode, switching to automatic after the first run. Regarding squeaks, we’re talking about louder than normal and in mild driving conditions. Standard dealer response is to blow off any brake dust and say “that should do it”.
Getting all of the parts to have fundamental and overtone frequencies separated from each other (a design problem) can help along with friction material selections and additional damping elements can help.
Brakes should only be used in an emergency which is why a m/t is good as one can get a fair amount of compression braking to avoid hitting the other pedal so frequently. Promotes fuel economy....
Oh, wow!
