Sean Hannity Is Going to War With FOX News: "I Am Not FOX News.com, I Retract Nothing,"
Vice News ^ | May 23 2017, 5:00pm | MIKE PEARL

Posted on 05/23/2017 7:12:17 PM PDT by drewh

The FOX News host is refusing to stop his investigation into the grisly murder of Seth Rich.

Sean Hannity, FOX News host went out on a limb Tuesday in defense of his coverage, calling his critics "phony hypocrites." Hannity wants to know who killed Seth Rich, even if the mainstream media and his own colleagues want him to stop.

The murder of Seth Rich, a young Democratic National Committee staffer, has inspired a lot of speculation in the right-wing media and on FOX, the gist of which is that he was murdered by Democratic operatives as revenge for being a whistleblower who delivered the notorious DNC emails to WikiLeaks. If Rich were the leaker, the thinking goes, there wouldn't have been any Russian hacking, therefore the entire investigation into the Trump campaign's Russian connections would be nonsense.

But the theory is bigger than any one figure—it's so huge it has its very own subreddit.

Hannity spent much of Tuesday tweeting about Rich. His big "source" is Kim Dotcom, a New Zealand webpreneur. Dotcom has been claiming for days that he knew Rich, and that he has information that proves Rich had delivered a collection of DNC emails to WikiLeaks. On Tuesday, what was revealed was a blog post at Dotcom's website, Kim.com, about a person in 2014 who went by "Panda" chatting with Dotcom about "corruption and the influence of corporate money in politics." Dotcom claims that Panda was Rich and hinted vaguely about more to be revealed in the future. On Tuesday night, Hannity is scheduled to interview Dotcom on his show.

Throughout Tuesday afternoon, Hannity carried on talking about the Seth Rich case on his radio show. Times.

"I am not FOX.com or FOXNews.com. I retract nothing," he told listeners.

Just my uneducated thought....I have a feeling that a new
network is in the brewing. Rush eluded to the downfall
of FOX NEWS yesterday. Anyone else wondering the same?

Heh.

She was the spokesnoid for a sitting president, one of the most powerful jobs with world wide exposure.

And she writes a book about her dog?

Shows you she’s no writer.

I’m taking a different view of this. We want to blame Hannity for backing down, but I think what happened here was more of a shot across the DNC’s bow than anything. How about, “if you continue to pursue the fake Trump/Russian collusion story, Clinton had Seth Rich killed, like Vince Foster and Ron Brown this will be the new talking point.”

I believe what we are witnessing with Hannity is possible collusion with the Trump team to get the message out to Democrats to shut down the fake Russia story.

“...Assange had better start to rethink his non disclosure policy...”

This is my exact conclusion as well. Now is the time for Assange to announce the truth of the matter in the open that Seth Rich was the wikileaks source, if that is indeed the case, which it certainly appears to be.

He has enough money to hire the best security in the world and a means to get the truth out.

Tell the world who threatened them. Go on offense.

There are people with nothing that have stood up to the most brutal dictators in the world.

Seems to me there are enough Freepers to get the job done. Start by checking visitor logs at White House. Robert Creamer visited the White House 340 times or more. Scott Foval also visited. Another name: Aaron Black. Real name Aaron Minter

He's been the only consistent supporter of Trump over the past 1.5 years. Rush has been luke warm, at best, in his support of Trump and delivers only backhanded compliments to Trump. Rush knows he'd lose more of his audience if he actually said what he thinks about Trump.

At least Hannity has the balls to speak his mind.

Hannity may have gone to college but only for a very brief time, he did not graduate.

“Hannity dropped out of New York University and Adelphi University.[7][8] “

From Claudia Kash: I know why Seth Rich had to die. There were 2 sets of polling places this primary season — one set for most of the voters, who went on state >websites to find their polling locations — a second set for Hillary Clinton supporters who looked on Hillary >Clinton’s website to find their polling location. The Secretary of State for each state had one set of locations on >the record; the other set of locations, the ones listed on Hillary’s website, were not on the state record. I know this because I looked on her website to find where a friend should vote — then double-checked the state >website, which showed a different address. I thought there must be a mistake — I kept checking, right up to >election day. But until they killed Seth Rich, I couldn’t figure out why there would be two different polling >places. This is how I think the scam worked: While most voters look up their location on their state website, voters who >were signed up as Hillary Clinton supporters would be directed to her site to find their polling place. It was set >up the same as any other DNC polling place — with DNC volunteers, regular voting machines, etc. — and a >duplicate voter roster, the same as the roster at the other polling place. Voters would be checked off on the >roster, same as at the other polling place... and after the polls closed, the DNC supervisor would pick up the >roster and the ballots.

The supervisor would then pick up the roster at the legitimate polling place and the ballots there. He(or she) >would then replace a number of Bernie Sanders ballots with an equal number of the ballots from the Hillary >Clinton voting location. Then the duplicate roster from the HRC would be shredded and thrown away, along >with all the Bernie Sanders ballots that had been replaced. That way the number of people who voted (on the >remaining roster) still matches the number of ballots. This is why so many states reported a “lower than expected voter turnout”. Seth Rich, who was responsible for the app that helped voters find their polling places, did not realize that >there were two sets of polling places until he himself went to vote. He lived in Washington DC, which voted at >the end of the primary season, a week after Clinton had already been declared the winner. I believe he discovered it then, and had started asking questions about why the polling places on Hillary’s >website didn’t match the ones on the DC website.

But even if he didn’t say a word to anybody, it would have been dangerous to let him live. He would have >figured it out sooner or later — and he would have reported it when he did.

Hannity likes to claim he has saved his money to have himself a nice big fat legal defense fund for just such situations as the current one. I do believe that.

Sheesh. I’d better watch him at 10 when his show is on again. Was watching the hockey.

Fox didn't repeat his show; it was preempted by coverage of Trump with the Pope (how very convenient!).

I SAW that. I had to go to YouTube to watch it. His voice was shaky the entire program, never heard Sean that rattled or upset. He mentioned his kids twice, with reddish wet eyes. He meant every word, he is threatened, he was sad. He ended with IF We see each other again tomorrow.

Very upsetting. He’s done absolutely nothing wrong. NOTHING. If he were pursuing the truth on something as specious as Trump getting Putin to help him win, he’d be given a medal. There are people on twitter clamoring for him to be fired. It’s worse than I’ve ever seen it. Very organized. The closer he gets to the truth, the more they come after him.

But he is a bulldog and except for threats to his kids, he won’t stop. Gd bless him. I hope he understands Gd has blessed him immeasurably for many years and that now might be one of those more trying times. I’m confident he will land on his feet - but I hope he has lots of protection.

.... Basically I think the spawn of Murdoch put Hannity on notice. I’m sure they are just itching to have a good reason to dump him for breach of contract.

I saw Hannity’s little rant last night.

Looks like FNC retracted the Seth conspiracy story after realizing they had no sources for it, and Seth's family complaining.

Hannity also said he will talk about it again ‘at some other time’, not now on his show.

He has a radio show he can do it on.

The Hannity Seth stuff is like what Maddow is doing on Trump and Russia.

I keep speculating that Sinclair has a plan for an OTA 24 hour network. It seems it could be deployed on Digital subchannels without extreme cost. OTA and Web stream would give access to a significant audience.

I remember seeing that last year but I don’t know how widespread it was.

What seems more deadly is speculation that Seth Rich while at the DNC saw democrat donations from counties across the US for Bernie Sanders being diverted as donations to Hillary Clinton.

G Webb is investigating the donation diversion and the Seth Rich emails may be the damning evidence of that. The reasoning is that counties were sending in spreadsheets of donor information and the donation amounts, that each county had five to six categories of donors, for example:

$2700,
$1500-$2700,
$500-$1500,
$250-$500,
$100-$250
<$100

Each category had a separate spreadsheet emailed as an attachment to an email. Multiply the number of spreadsheets per county by about 3000 counties in the US and the total number of spreadsheet attachments comes to somewhere between 15,000 and 18,000.

Seth Rich is reported to have sent more than 44,000 emails to Wikileaks with about 17,000 attachments.

Rich may have been killed because he was revealing the theft of Sanders donations to the Hillary campaign.

It is also reported that Rich had a heated shouting argument with Donna Brazile on the day he died or just before.
