I haven’t (and won’t) watch either one, but speaking to exorcists recently (after writing about them before) has made me realize something about this phenomenon: Satan is pornography’s biggest fan. Why?
First, Satan loves pornography because he hates freedom.
When we renew our baptismal promises the Church asks: “Do you reject Satan, so as to live in the freedom of God’s children?”
To use pornography is to say: “I do not.” Pornography militates against freedom. The science of it is well known: The human brain, when aroused by erotic images, dumps chemicals into the bloodstream that push the throttle of the viewer to full-speed “give me more” mode. Idle online curiosity quickly becomes addictive obsession.
Dabbling with pornography is like opening the window of a pressurized airplane at a high altitude. It pulls you in and spits you out.
The same thing happens to women involved in the pornography industry. Women seeking modeling careers, or a brief injection of cash in tough times, quickly find themselves in the clutches of a degrading industry, with images of themselves that they regret circulating forever online.
A recent pornography scam is not unlike what happens anyway to “legitimate” pornographic actresses: Lured by money, they find themselves in the clutches of men who only want to use them.
Which is a second reason Satan loves pornography: It is the ultimate structure of sin.
When we lie, or cheat, or steal, we commit a sin that implicates each of us, alone. When we involve others in our sin, that’s worse. But what about a sin that helps create, perpetuate and supercharge international syndicates of sin?..."

Equating liking young-but-legally-adult women with "pedophilia" does not help your case.
The definition of "pedophile" is somebody who is sexually attracted to pre-adolescent girls. Guys are designed to be attracted to healthy, physically-fit women in their prime child-bearing years. If a woman is old enough to marry and have kids with, then she is old enough for guys to want to look at.

But you do.
A child is in their parent’s care until the age of 18. If you find a 14 year old attractive, you find a child attractive for sex.
I drove this point home during the Milo bullsh!ttery a month ago. It seems that his argument freed a lot of pedos to be able to argue their case.
18 years old. Any younger, and they’re children. Period. If you think of children in a sexual manner, you’re a pedophile.
I hope you can see the logic here, and the logic behind the whole “pre adolescent” proto-argument. One is good, the other is evil.

But, getting back to the original topic: being attracted to women over the age of 18 is not pedophilia, even if the guy is much older than 18.

We are FAR, FAR off target here.

And of course if you were in high school you were fine. Sheesh. And if a person is an adult, they are an adult. Plain and simple. There are juvenile adults, surely but there isn’t anything a law will do to protect them at that point.
Kids today are exposed to so much more than we (I think you’re my age? Doesn’t matter) were. They need time to develop into adults and that really can’t happen in 18 years. just like decades ago we decided it wouldn’t happen in 14 years, or biblical times when it was about 12. We need to leave these young adults alone so they can spend more time learning the eons of science that have developed in the past 100 years, the tomes of history and perfection of the spoken word.
Right now more kids are focusing on how sexy they are rather than how smart they are. And that’s gotta end.
Good luck with that. If you ever got it passed, it would be so universally ignored that it would put Law itself into contempt.
For me, I would like to encourage going back to encouraging girls to get married young (18-24). As it stands now, women hopping from bed to bed through their 20's, and then expecting somebody to marry them at 30 is resulting in many women never marrying.
Now, people think of deferring marriage until after college, then until established in a career, and then after that they have a new excuse.

I learned lately from something that someone said about talking about the black community.
We tend to talk about large groups of people as though they are pets.
I married pretty late in life, and yet dated a girl for 14 years (She left me for another, and I met my current wife and proposed in 2 months)
This type of thing is complex and tens of thousands of books have been written on the subject. Still no solid answers. This is the wonder of the life we’ve been given. This is what God has intended for us, purely.
