Stockdale. I watched him accept the position of vice presidential candidate with Perot. He started out really good, saying, "why am I here?" Then he got a puzzled expression on his face, and then he just mumbled his way through his acceptance speech. It was very disappointing. The opposite of Sarah Palin.

The minute the Rats are in power it will be turned against you! They’ll decide what’s truth just like you want to do now! Freedom of speech & press is not only freedom to speak the truth but also freedom to spin & lie. It’s your job to determine what passes for “correct” and what doesn’t.
The press has always been rabidly partisan there was never a “Golden Age” where they were selfless seekers of the truth. At the beginning of the Republic you had Jefferson’s pet press attack dog Phillip Freneau trying to claim Washington wanted to be king! The one thing consistent about our free press is its creativity in printing nonsense & bald face lies. After all they have to say something to make you part with your money! They’re not in it for their health!
