There are some refineries that use HF in their alkylation units. I won’t set foot in one, even with PPE. The semiconductor plants are scary enough.

I believe you should reconsider outlawing needed meds for innocent people in the throws of insufferable pain because a few drug abusers illegally get ahold of the meds and OD. I see first hand the merciful benefit of these meds on my wife with Stage 4 cancer.

****Fentanyl is yet another thing George Webb talks about. it is a drug that is used like a “truth drug” by the IC.****

Fentanyl is used to subdue the target ala fentanyl cabs...

Another drug is used to extract information, but I can’t remember what it is without reviewing the George Webb videos that mention it.

***There are plenty of chemicals that can absorb through the skin.***

Like say, cheetos...

I am deeply sorry about your mom and what you had to deal with.

The “victims” of addiction generally victimize those who love them.

This is not right.

*Right now*, the DEA is forcing doctors to wean their legitimate chronic pain sufferers off of these effective opioids, because of morons who abuse the stuff.

Not coincidentally, the suicide rate in white, middle class is at an all-time high, because these people no longer have the meds that help them cope with crippling pain.

Innocent, decent people will suffer and die because junkies need their high.

I have NO pity for the druggies.

At all.

I’m calling BS on this story.

He probably tried some.

Just by touching the dust would absorb it into your bloodstream. Total bull.

Many chronic pain users are abusers - not by choice, but by doctors who either wanted a quick visit or a “happy” patient. The consequences of non-terminal patients staying on the pain meds are dire. Doctors are now being expected to be doctors and not candymen.

sorry I don’t see it that way at all. I’d rather see them revived and have a chance at kicking it. I’d also rather see personal use decriminalized and the money going towards rehabilitation rather than incarceration.

Before you say that is asinine, look at what Portugal did and what happened to their junkie population. The problem is a fraction of what it was.

Heroin is probably more expensive than fentanyl so it is cut with the cheap stuff.

Bringing up epipens, why is it that a 50 cent dose of ephinephrine cost $75.00 in a delivery system (pen)? Because the FDA limits competition and will not approve another system.

Fentanyl is most often delivered through transdermal patches.

Chemical absorption through the skin is quite real.

Portugal does not share our puritanical need to punish people.

It doesn’t cause discomfort in your fingertips because it destroys the nerves. I once had to change a sensor in a HD tank. I was wearing protection but as I was getting cleaned up one of the workers said those weren’t the right gloves for the job. When we got the gloves off my hands were wet but you couldn’t tell if it was sweat or HF. They took me to the hospital, which was supposed to have data sheets for every chemical we used but they couldn’t find one for HF. Their solution was to let me sit there for a few hours to see if my hands started to melt. When I didn’t show any symptoms they sent me home.

Not coincidentally, the suicide rate in white, middle class is at an all-time high, because these people no longer have the meds that help them cope with crippling pain.

They are also turning to heroin and driving our rising addiction rates.

Many of today's junkies were formerly innocent, decent people until the doc cut off their fentanyl patches.

I have worked as an industrial hygienist in several refinery turnarounds. HF is really scary. I’ve seen several guys permanently scarred after explosions. The treatment with Calcium Gluconate is extremely painful, getting tatooed in the burn sites. Also destroys lung tissues if you inhale fumes. Forms a scale on equipment that is really nasty.

And yet HF is used in dentistry, for example. Recently had some work done and the dentist used HF to etch the tooth before cementing in the new inlay. Of course that was only some <10% HF gel product. (I remembered enough about concentrated HF from my undergrad chemistry studies that I asked whether it was a good idea to put that stuff in my mouth and he then explained it’s just a diluted gel.)
