3 best TV episodes of all time?

Posted on 05/19/2017 6:42:04 PM PDT by MNDude

There are probably tens of thousands of TV episodes from the different decades. Most of them are probably pretty lousy looking back, but of course a few were rather stellar.

The episode on Little House on the Prairie where Mary goes blind, nightmare at 20000 feet on the Twilight Zone, the episode with a huge battle on Game of Thrones, or the Pilot of The Wonder Years are examples of some great episodes.

In your opinion, what are the three greatest TV episodes of all time?

"The Unnatural" was also a terrific episode. I enjoyed it so much that somebody very dear to me got on ebay and bought me a studio copy of the script...It was the first episode written by Duchovny and is a near perfect blend of baseball, Roswell and X-Files lore.

Another of my most memorable TV moments had to have been Magnum PI's, "Ivan, Did you see the sunrise this morning?"

Andy Griffith show... I never met half a boy. Poor heratio.

Publisher clearing house, when ed Mcmann said you can get a million dollars from Dickin’ me.

When Joe Flacco said he thought he was a better QB than Tom Brady, and went on to prove it.

“The IT Crowd” -

“With all due respect John, I am the head of IT and I have it on good authority that if you type ‘Google’ into Google, you can break the Internet. So please, no one try it, even for a joke.....It’s not a laughing matter. You can break the Internet.”

The only episode of “Combat” that stuck in my head was when a country boy spotted a sniper in a tree because the leaves weren’t where they were supposed to be.

Around 50 years later my son would do the same thing in the Stan.

Carol Burnett spoof of Gone with the Wind. The curtain rod sticking out of the shoulders of the green velvet dress was one of the funniest things I have ever seen.
