That’s a nice theory. But out here in reality Congress has a return rate of over 90%. Nobody is getting primaried out.

No he’s not. He’s the same guy he always was. A lot of people just seem to have forgotten who he always was because the press started painting him as something different. Same kind of thing happened with Bush 2, after the election the press started projecting him as this hardcore arch conservative, and then when he wasn’t (because he never was) the folks who wanted a hardcore arch conservative were all sad. Trump is a 5 time party changer who made a lot of bold declarations during the campaign but then walked almost every one of them back. Lot’s of folks didn’t pay attention to the walking back part.

Before the election Hillary needed to be locked up.
After the election she needed to heal.

Before the election Obama’s illegal DACA program was unconstitutional.
After the election, he’s keeping it going, protecting illegal aliens from our laws.
(It’s still illegal and unconstitutional)

This, from another thread, says it all...

"Democrats think they have set the stage to block President Trump’s legislative priorities for years to come by winning major concessions in a spending bill to keep the government open.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Senate Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer (D-N.Y.) secured nearly $5 billion in new domestic spending by exploiting disagreements between Trump and GOP lawmakers over spending priorities. "

Wow! You must be another Nostradamus. So, who will win the 3rd race at Arlington this Saturday?

Patience, we will get the wall, we will get ScamOcare repealed and replaced, sanctuary cities will be gone and so will the baby slaughterhouses. What Trump is doing right now is getting these bums to “owe him”. He’s only been in office 100 days! He’s got 8 years left. This is massive destruction of this country that has been going on since the last real Republican President left office in 1989, that’s almost 30 years of Bush/Clinton/Obama crap he has to clean up and you are disappointed because he hasn’t done it all in the blink of an eye? He was handed a government that has NEVER been more corrupt than it was now. I mean my God, when Obama took office I started counting his acts of treason. I stopped at 25 when I realized nothing was being done about it. You can’t get a Congress more corrupt than that, hardcore blatant treason by a sitting President over and over and over and over and over and they did absolutely NOTHING. The real problem is the people in this country who keep electing these bums. Why was Ryan reelected for example? What the hell was that?

My state sent the most straight shooter I know to Washington. First as a congressman, now he is one of our senators. He is right in the middle of the swamp, and one of the establishment guys now. Took about 5 years.

I thought about that too.

Here’s the problem.

The lower numbers of illegals is based on the idea that the effort and danger of jumping the border is not worth it because Trump will quickly arrest and deport them.

Some of that is happening but it will never be enough.

Integrity of borders is a basic function of gov’t, that precedes the 20th century welfare state crap by hundreds of years.

This is a $4 trillion per year gov’t that RINOs and DEMONRATs claim “can’t afford” to build a $20bil wall.

This is a hill to die on. If gov’t can’t even secure the borders it should just be shut down.

I’m not sure when is best to try that. On this illegal immigration issue, Trump is, in effect, a third party president supported by a minority of Republicans - and that’s it.

His greatest leverage may be at the debt ceiling in July. If he intends to do that he will not signal it in advance.

Build the wall !

Ryan and the “other” traitorous Republicans are blocking Trump. We need to know who is siding with Ryan and they all need to be Primaried.

Where is Trump the fighter? Where did he go?

He never was. He has always just been a showman, but then again, some folks realized that a long time ago.

No....

Their was an old Reaganite ( I can't remember his name ) on Fox Biz yesterday and he spelled it out.

* He noted, PDJT need momentum, and this would have killed it.
* It is better to get some runs on the board, i.e. O-Care Replacement and Tax Reform, then go for a Fall Shutdown.
* Then he has Leverage with the Senators, look, with these 2 bills the economy is rebounding, do you really want to go into re-election against my budget with things improving?

My take on that? Mitch has to go full Nuclear all the time, this 60 cloture benchmark is a recipe for the UniParty to make PDJT a one termer. Will Mitch do it? I hope so, Ryan is useless, Mitch no so much, but keep your eye on him all the time...

The tax cut leverage? The Blue States loosing their Tax Deductibility of State and local taxes. He will let that go for them giving up sanctuary cities, because most of them are in blue states!

IMHO PDJT knows it is all about GDP, getting so many areas of the Country back to work, making things. Look @ all the Exec-Orders, they were all about changes around the margins to stop bad trade and or make the environment for making things amenable to businesses of all sizes.

“Where is Trump the fighter? Where did he go?”

You say this as if he has zero opposition.

Two houses of congress full of anti-Trump retards sent there by the same people bitching that he isn’t just bowling through them while they sit on their ass and complain.

So stop the bellyaching and help him out!

Those of you looking for cheap entertainment need to realize that electing Trump did not eliminate these people.

I think he’s only just now realizing how deep the swamp is. I’m sure the backstabbers and their staffers have an understanding under threat of physical harm that they shall not disclose private goings-on.

One more thing....

Out their is AntiFa, BAMN, BB and they are itching for a fight. Don't give them something to do this Summer, IMHO it is going to be a hot and long one metaphorically, especially after seeing the Construction Worker in Pittsburgh being backed away from Antifa by Cops T'day.

Let's wait for these "chillrehn" (as the Former Surgeon General would have said) are back at College...

“Which GOP should be on the short list to Primary Trump in 2020, should this pace of non-change continue”

After 100 days?

What the hell is wrong with you people?

Only a fool will run for office with a voting base this stupid.

Give them two months, ignore the stuff that has been done, and start demanding a replacement!

Tell me who should have primared Reagan in 84?

The travel ban decisions have both been appealed to the 4th and 9th circuits. Eventually it will go to the Supreme Court, but I agree the process is too slow!

“Why do you insist everything should be done already. It’s ridiculous.”

The newfound stupid on the right is astonishing!

Makes you wonder where the hell people here got off on calling the left “pajama boys”!

They manage to have more damn spine than these surrender boys.

Does anything sum up politics in 2017 better than, “Go read the Dilbert guy to figure out why this is good?”
